Stargate - Empire at War: Pegasus Chronicles is a total conversion for the fantastic game Star Wars - Empire at War: Forces of corruption. This total conversion will replace every single Star Wars asset of the original game with Stargate assets. This includes units, buildings, icons, sounds, videos and so much more. Pegasus Chronicles offers 3 playable races, the Ta'uri (alliance between Earth and the Asgard), Anubis (a mighty systemlord) and the Wraith. Beside these 3 playable races, you will meet many non-playable ones like the Replicators, the Asurans, the systemlord alliance, the Aschen, the Ori and many more. Each faction will have several space and land units, well known from the series or completely new ones. Contrary to our first full version for the normal Empire at War, the next release will offer finished GC maps, in which you can play through the known Stargate storylines and experience a lot of never seen missions and adventures.

is that a crashed Ancient warship in the map?

Downed ships make a great edition to ground maps, and the best part is you already have the models!

Explaining this is very complicated! The gate will only be the starting point in GC ground battles, it has no further meaning because EaW doens't give the possibilty to give more than this one.
In skirmish we are still thinking about the function, the only possible and useful way is to make it like a "factory", which you can conquer so troops appear. Bad thing about that is, always the same troops will appear independently from the faction which conquers it, so there would be always jaffa for example coming out of it(well, this would be the best possibility, cause you can say the Goa'uld get reinforcements and the Ta'uri some free Jaffa^^).

Well, it is a ring transporter^^. Klon has made one without my knowing^^.
But it will anyway have no function!

Instead of landing ships, would it be possible for the tau ri to beam units down and the goauld to use rings, I know its more work, but you wanna play the mod as well
Hm, how many times have i answered this question? I think a 1000 times^^. Would be possible, but too much work and looks really bad because you'd have e.g. 20 small ring transporters at the same time, this isn't cool, this looks bizarrely!
A beam is impossible because the landing device must be a model and you can't model a beam(well, you can, but i don't know how so it also works in EaW and i don't want to find it out..).
The ring thing could work if you made the landing area smaller, again its not a demand, just throwing it out there, but you have to admit it would be very cool, both sides could always ring down, 304's have rings on them
No it isn't cool, we have tried this. That's what i have explained to you!
ive got a story for the rings on the planet here it goes . the anciants was going to transport atlantians with the rings and then the wraith came out of hyper space and they shot down the anciants ship and had a fight on land the wraith won and disabled the ring transport so no one could get off the planet. oh and can enyone tell me how to make maps??

Here the history I had thought up to the Map:
The war against the Wraith leans towards to the end and the Ancient prepare to return the Milky Way. Because they would not that the technology like this ship fall in the hands of the Wraith they dug it in one of her outside posts. Then they return in the Milky Way and the Wraith fall in a sort of hibernation.
After the Atlantis expedition reactivate the long distances sensors all remained ships like the Aurora announce to Atlantis so also, Orion and the ship what you also see of the Map. Indeed, this measure was not quite successfully the answer of the Orion and the ship on the Map not reach Atlantis.
The Tauri continue so with the examination of the planets in the list them had found in Atlantis.
The Malp what they have sent by the gate now those receives the Signals
of the ship whereupon they started to dig out and to reactivate it.
This is in the possibly story I had developed to the Map. The ship is a dug ship and not a downed ship.
Because downed ships not look so intact;)

Not decided yet, but it is one in the Pegasus galaxy.

can you tell us roughly how many planets will be in each galaxy?
IN the biggest GC about 100(with 4 galaxies), in the Pegasus GC about 60, in the milky way only about 60 and then some smaller versions of each with about 60,30 and 30 or something like that.

In the biggest GC you'll have about 55 milky way planets, 35 in the Pegasus galaxy, 5 in the Asgard galaxy and 5 in the Ori galaxy.
It's not completely decided yet but that is the current status.
So, no brand new galaxies, but the GCs are completely new, all self made, no more using of the original EaW ones.

Hi, I am a first time postie, just on to say that you are doing a fine job with Stargate: Empire at war. I have played v0.8 doing skirmish battles and I like what I see. I await for the next and inevitable full release.

well ther asgard do liv in another galaxie der was an episode in sg 1 wer jack came under control of an anciant and made a power source so the gate coud be stronger and the dialing sequence had a different chevron
oh yeah i "sort-of" remember that...the galaxy is called Othallas or something

i got 2 problems but they arent that major.
1: why make refinery buildpads or whatever they are called (those small ones you capture and build a mini refinery on)?
2: why arent there any build pads for turrets??
