Stargate - Empire at War: Pegasus Chronicles is a total conversion for the fantastic game Star Wars - Empire at War: Forces of corruption. This total conversion will replace every single Star Wars asset of the original game with Stargate assets. This includes units, buildings, icons, sounds, videos and so much more. Pegasus Chronicles offers 3 playable races, the Ta'uri (alliance between Earth and the Asgard), Anubis (a mighty systemlord) and the Wraith. Beside these 3 playable races, you will meet many non-playable ones like the Replicators, the Asurans, the systemlord alliance, the Aschen, the Ori and many more. Each faction will have several space and land units, well known from the series or completely new ones. Contrary to our first full version for the normal Empire at War, the next release will offer finished GC maps, in which you can play through the known Stargate storylines and experience a lot of never seen missions and adventures.
Stargate Empire at War is a game modification created for the game Star Wars Empire at War, a real time strategy game with both space and land functions.

Review
Stargate Empire at War is one of the few stargate mods available to the public, for a complete stargate expierience. If you are a fan of stargate this mod is for you.
Races
In the game it features two playable races, the Tauri and the Goa'uld, each with several sub races that have playable ships and units for that race. For example while playing as the tauri, as you increase your technology level different asgard ships become available for you to use. This use of grouping races, in sort of an alliance based format has allowed the development team to use only ships from the series itself, although in the mod they are curently working on, Stargate Empire at War: Pegasus Chronicles, there is going to be several team designed ships in the game. It is still largely going to be based off of stargate lore, and there is going to be the addition of a third playable race, the Wraith who in Stargate Empire at War were only playable as a sub race for the Goa'uld.
History
Ok so now that we have the basics of the mod covered lets go into one of my favorite parts of the mod, the history and background of stargate the development team has so amazingly preserved in their mod. Every planet, just like in the game Star Wars Empire at War, has a history, tactical information, the races that inhabit the planet, and a summary of the planet. In the case of this mod, every planet is a planet either featured in SG-1 or SGA, and on top of this several paragraphs of history and stargate lore are incorperated, many of the planets incorperated were visited by teams other then SG-1, so the development team spent a lot of time making sure their mod was both accurate and true to the stargate world. Also unique images and pictures for the loading menu have been added and they have either created their own maps or added details to make the planets fit the stargate lore. This mod is really an all out mod.
Ships
Now for the ships, in the mod almost any ship you have seen in stargate is featured, whether it is the majestic asgard oniel class or the ruthless ori mothership this mod has it. My personal favorite is the BC 304 deadalus class ship that comes complete with mark 6 tactical nukes and several railgun positions. It is truely a sign of the tauri's scientific advancements over the many years of the stargate program. But if the bc 304 isn't your thing, don't worry this mod comes complete will ancient war ships, several hatack designs, any replicator ship you can imagine, any and every asgard ship, the grace motherships, and the oh so frightning wraith ships. If its been seen on stargate its in the mod.
Ground Units
Ground units are a completely different story. This mod has so many ground units available that you won't know what to do, for each race there are several different types of infantry, fighters and vehicles. Even the all powerfull kull warior of anubis is featured in this mod. In the units section there are a few personal touches added to the mod for example, you don't see many Humvees is stargate but in this mod all i can say is oh yeah, and let me be the first to say there is nothing more fun then destroying legions of jaffa warriors with a couple of humvees. ;) But like i said in the paragraph above if you can think of it, its here. And this mod also has some very cool ways of getting units to the battlefield, be it by alkesh, x303, puddle jumper, or my personal favorite, reserved only for certain hero units, the ring platform, this mod makes you feel like your on the front lines, either enslaving human populations or fighting against all odds for freedom from the Goa'uld.
Space Stations
Space stations, the backbone of planetary defence. This mod has them, if you recal in stargate SG-1 the system lords have a huge space station that has been designated the neutral meeting place for the group. Well if you play as the tauri you had better watch out because that is the monster you have to conquer. And if your the goa'uld you had better be ready to take on a modified inter national space station complete with railguns, missles, shields and an occasional drone tank. Let me put it this way, it only LOOKS like you could snap it with your pinky finger. Also, there are a few replicator and wraith space stations that have been incorperated into the mod. Once agian this mod really is all out.
Unique Features
There are so many cool features that have been added to the game, that if i tried to explain them all i would ultimately fail. So im just going to share a few of my personal favorites. So first, on many of the planets you can build a ground to space weapons, now for the tauri this is either a drone platform or a nuclear missle luanch site, and for the goa'uld its a staff weapon laser, all of these are extremely powerful and capable of doing seriouse damage to opposing ships. Also many of the hero's have some very cool uniqe abilitys, for example the deadalus has a beam nuke ability that will do serious damage to any ship, infact not much can withstand this ability, even space stations. Also asgard beam weapons are featured on several hero ships, and on a ship called the BC 304 mk2, a ship made by the development team.
Bugs (every mod has a few)
Now like any mod there are a few bugs, such as a crash when you try to do a bombing run, the AI is a little messed up, and in one of the galactic conquests you can not reach the pegasus galaxy but these are obsolete when you take into consideration all that has been done for this mod, and the fact that this mod is free for your use and enjoyment. So all in all i think you can over look these.
Now i could go on for hours about the different units and features of the mod without even scratching the surface, or doing the mod proper justice. So all i have to say in the end is, download it, its easy to install and very fun, it doesn't cost a cent and really thats the only way to fully appreciate the mod and all of the work that has been done by the development team. It is by far one of the most, if not the most complete stargate mods out there and like i said, the only way to fully appreciate it is to play it yourelf. This mod gets a 10 out of 10 as it deserves nothing less.

Specail thanks go to the development team for letting me write this review and my appologies go out to them for no matter how well of a review is written, there is no way to properly do this mod justice. Thanks for the mod and good luck.
