Cause we do not expect everybody to read every single comment, i would like to summarize the current state of development:

-Our Lead Coder's Laptop is broken since more than 6 weeks and has been sent to the manufacturer concerning a warranty claim. They found out that the mainboard is defect, but cannot replace it due to delivery problems.
-Unfortunately that laptop boasts 3 months of code development, e.g. lists with the values of all units/buildings, the shipyard system, new effects and the whole balancing system.
-The coder tries to get his harddrive back, but the retail company simply wants to give him a new laptop.
-Rewriting the codes to the same state as they are right now is nearly impossible, which makes us hoping he gets the HDD back as soon as possible.
-That is the reason why the release is delayed that much. Without that data the mod would not be half as good as we want it to be and a lot of important things would be missing.
-As the other departments like the sounds and models have been done for quite a while, we certainly are frustrated, as well! But there is simply nothing we can do to change the situation right now.

The good thing is we have started to develop other parts for the release after this one, like many ground building and stuff. Despite they are nearly finished they will NOT be included in the space release.

Therefore we cannot do anything to accelerate the release right now, but hope we can retrieve the data pretty soon. In the worst case all data will be lost and we have to think about another way of finishing the release  -  but do not worry, we are not going to quit!

Before anybody is blaming us for not making any backups - the coder created backups which unfortunately were on the same laptop... he was just a step before releasing the codes internally. That is why noone else but him had these codes.
