@Stargate: you're right, e.g. we have putted in stuff like the ancient frigate shown in S4E10, but not the Travelers. And we will not try to add everything! This is still a game and not a "everything in 3D" Wikipedia of Stargate. So if it doesn't make sense it will not be added.
Means, if they show a new ship in the next seasons and it is cool and would have a good function in the mod then we would add it, but we will not add it just because it was shown in an episode. You know what i mean?
Of course we try to add as much as possible, but only if it is useful in the game. And when this mod is finished next year, i don't think that anybody will make little updates with new stuff.

ooooo i just remembered something that annoyed me about the galactic map, only a slight discrepency but earth is in the wrong place, it should be further from galactic center........also im fairly sure abydos is the closest planet with a stargate to earth, so it should be in game too.

It's a space complete release and we haven't done anything on the ground units, only made some new buildings!
The ground part will be finished next year, when the mod is totally finished!

with all due respect, how can this mod ever be finished when Stargate Atlantis is showing new episodes, and they are creating new movies and such. I think you should at least have a patch every so often that allows for any new ships shown in the series, and new planets.

Well you have a hangar for the fighters, a Tauri ship yard for 303 and 304, an Asgard shipyard for Daniel Jackson, ONeill and Beliskner, a hangar for the Goauld fighter and Alkesh, a medium shipyard e.g. for the normal hataks and a big shipyard e.g. for system flagships and so on.

@pol91:
it's a problem of Final 0.8, you must edit the lua files yourself to solve this. The next release has an aggressive AI.

@asho: i know, but it sounded like it is a total surprise that it is finished at 90%^^.

@Ian: really? Well, you won't find these maps in the next release^^.

Yes correct, hangars can be build everywhere, the larger ship yards only on some certain planets. And they don't replace the space stations, they are separate buildings, ground buildings(like in the series!).

i had a look in the maps in the mod folder of 0.8 and there are a few maps that you cant find in the mod, but you can open them in map editor. these include the nox world, an asgard looking planet and a tokra base. these maps are very cool
