Stargate - Empire at War: Pegasus Chronicles is a total conversion for the fantastic game Star Wars - Empire at War: Forces of corruption.
This total conversion replaces every single Star Wars asset of the original game with Stargate assets. This includes units, buildings, icons, sounds, videos and so much more.

Pegasus Chronicles offers 3 playable races, the Ta'uri (alliance between Earth and the Asgard), Anubis (a mighty systemlord) and the Wraith.

Beside these 3 playable races, you will meet many non-playable ones like the Replicators, the Asurans, the systemlord alliance, the Aschen, the Ori and many more.
Each faction owns several space and land units and buildings, either well known from the series or completely new ones, invented by us.

Many new missions and adventures in the Stargate universe are waiting for you...

as announced in the previous news we would like to speed up the development of our project. For that reason we would need reinforcements in the following areas:

Job offer: 2D Art

 

Textures, Icons and Wallpapers are no problem for you? You would be perfect to help us illustrating our project!

Job offer: 3D Art
You already made some ships, buildings or environmental assets? Every additional model would be a great help!

Job offer: Animation
Getting stuff moving is your thing? We got some models waiting just for you!

Job offer: Coding
You are not afraid of a huge wall of XML-code and have coded for EaW/FoC before? You would be a great addition to our team!

Job offer: Scripting
You have experience with the script language .LUA? We could create totally new gameplay elements with your help!

Wait, that's possible? If you could explain how that would be great, that way I don't have to completely change the original BC-304 files anymore than I want to. I'd appreciate it if you could, maybe in a pm or what ever is easier.

look in the xml for the variant code. Check fighters or squadrons, should be in there.
Make a variant, link it to the main ship, then change the text file details, and then create the text file entries and bamn you have a new ship with minimal messing around
all you do is add that into the starbase build list and its done

i dont understand......the main ship? is that the interceptor4_frigate? i think you might have dummed it down to much for me. i get a bit of it just not all of it. the variant is the actual mod ship but what do you mean by linking it to main ship?

Hi!! Make a new XML with the what you want then put this code into it. then you need the string editor from petrolutiion mod tools (google it) open up the mastertextfile_english.dat add a new string, and when its done use the string name and put yours instead TEXT_TAURI_SPACE_UNIT_BC_304. then go to gameobjetctfiles.xml put your thenameofyourship.xml into anywhere you will see then go to the starbase_Tauri.xml look for skirmish starbases then there will be this line:<Tactical_Buildable_Objects_Multiplayer> put your ship name under it and thats it. have fun. :)

i dont get it, i added the ship string, i added it to the space station under the tauri for all but 1 space station lvl, i added it to the gameobjects.xml i have it as its own xml. the ship im trying to create is going to be called The RailGun, but idk what im doing wrong.
what is this for or where do i place it?

You must change the name of the text string to that you want, for example TEXT_TAURI_SPACE_UNIT_BC_304_ZEUS (much better were the Encyclopedia text so the ship name would be displayed instead of the ship class^^) and add this string to the Mastertextfile. To open these you need the DAT or the String Editor.

In the variant code is where you link it to the original ship (the one your copying to name)

im not fully understanding spino, im sorry if im making it hard to explain, i have been trying to understand what you told me but im just not grasping it much. it may be my fault for not explaining what i fully meant. would i be able to change stuff in a copy of the bc-304 file to make another ship build able? how exactly would i do that. once again im sorry for making you explain how to do it so much =(
