Hello community, the last few days and weeks were inundated with questions like:
“When will the next news be released?”,
“How much longer do we have to wait?”,
“Why doesthis take so long?”,
And last but not least our favorite question:
“When will the mod be released?”
Because of this and many other questions, we bring you a May news update to remind you that we don’t have to release an update every month and we don’t have to reveal an exact release date.
We sacrifice our precious time and do not get compensated for this creation.
So we have decided to reveal to you:
Nothing!
This is not directed against our true fans, who have supported us and hopefully will continue to. We really appreciate your support and we hope that you understand why we have to do this.
Our advice to everyone is to keep an eye on our pages because you never know…

And, to all you noobs out there asking these questions, stop asking them so that the team doesnt have to waist their time reading them, deleting them, answering them, and making news posts like this asking you to stop.

ima just kidding, i agreed that these questions are stupid.
Never has Nothing. had a greater meaning in the history of modding. Contemplate in its all powerful meaning of take a chill pill people, and just wait. a bit.. considering how long life is a bit wont kill you.
What is the point of this? I just keep this mod on my watch and usually only look if it has a release anyway. This mod certainly isn't the #1 mod on my watch list.

A finished product versus a rushed release is always a great argument to use.

You said you dislike questions by people requiring update and release. So, do you suppose their actions foolish? You don't answer stupid questions, but you answered stupid people, supposing themselfs worthy to get answer... So, nothing will change, you will get such questins again may be next mounth, may be next week. One decision in this situation is to white that you can decide youself when will be next update under release information with suct big leters. Other is just be above silly people, and totally ignore them (imagine that there is no questions you dislike!).
I think the real question that should be answered is just a simple No we're not dead.. I'm sure a lot of people are just concerned that this will become a mod that is a sorta never was. We've all gotten our hopes up before with a mod that never came to pass... take the homeworld 2 submarine mod.. even if no one actually wanted to see it.. but i'm just being devils advocate here. but then i've also in the past asked about estimates of how far from completion the mod was
so, is this mod dead now or there will not be any "news" about it ?

of course its dead... theyve worked 5 years and decided to dump it now...

People shouldn't be bothering you with such things. You guys do great work and if great work takes awhile then it's usually worth the wait. And considering how many other mods there are for this game, these impatient people should just calm down.

You know, when you do these "Punish Everybody" things, you tend to get a reputation for over-reacting. I just ignore all the irritating question askers, and it would be pretty easy for you to too.

Wow. That was hilarious. I would rather have a well done mod take longer than a crappy mod where ships are grey blobs that must be interprited for what they are. Keep up the good work and can't wait for the next real news post.
could you please just start a game company because taking your time to make a good product seems to be a problem with most companies at the moment who listen to whining people with no patience so thanks for making sure it's great ;)

Lol this news update is hilarious. I am patiently waiting and the only thing that can really tick me off is this mod being canceled. I love Stargate mods for games.
