Stargate - Empire at War: Pegasus Chronicles is a total conversion for the fantastic game Star Wars - Empire at War: Forces of corruption. This total conversion will replace every single Star Wars asset of the original game with Stargate assets. This includes units, buildings, icons, sounds, videos and so much more. Pegasus Chronicles offers 3 playable races, the Ta'uri (alliance between Earth and the Asgard), Anubis (a mighty systemlord) and the Wraith. Beside these 3 playable races, you will meet many non-playable ones like the Replicators, the Asurans, the systemlord alliance, the Aschen, the Ori and many more. Each faction will have several space and land units, well known from the series or completely new ones. Contrary to our first full version for the normal Empire at War, the next release will offer finished GC maps, in which you can play through the known Stargate storylines and experience a lot of never seen missions and adventures.

Alright, I downloaded the english_sound_fix.rar file for version 1.1, but I have no idea how to use it, since I never understood how you use .rar files. Can someone help me with this?

Get winrar, unpack it to any location, copy the extracted files over the old ones from the mod, which you can find in your eaw/gamedata/mods/stargate folder

Just in case anyone had the same problem copying files that I did, don't put the english 1.1 sound fix in the default Users/ file. When WinRar tries to extract them from there the access is denied. I suggest making a new folder in the C: drive, putting the english 1.1 sound fix in there and then Using WinRar to extract the files out of there and then back into to that folder instead of straight into the game's xml file. Then you can copy the extracted files out of there and into the game's XML file from there. Otherwise (at least on Vista) the computer denies access without asking you for it. Extracting the files to C: and then copying them from there fixed the problem for me.

P.S.- I'm glad I'm not the only one who had to endure teal'bacca
