Stargate - Empire at War: Pegasus Chronicles is a total conversion for the fantastic game Star Wars - Empire at War: Forces of corruption. This total conversion will replace every single Star Wars asset of the original game with Stargate assets. This includes units, buildings, icons, sounds, videos and so much more. Pegasus Chronicles offers 3 playable races, the Ta'uri (alliance between Earth and the Asgard), Anubis (a mighty systemlord) and the Wraith. Beside these 3 playable races, you will meet many non-playable ones like the Replicators, the Asurans, the systemlord alliance, the Aschen, the Ori and many more. Each faction will have several space and land units, well known from the series or completely new ones. Contrary to our first full version for the normal Empire at War, the next release will offer finished GC maps, in which you can play through the known Stargate storylines and experience a lot of never seen missions and adventures.

I installed the files in to my folder(D:\Star Wars Empire at War\Gamedata)
Then i went to doubleclick Stargate.bat, and the game started, but it starts originally SW-EAW. I was able to bring the mod going only by overwriting the default files in the "DATA" folder.
Plz, help someone to get it normally started.

I've tryed a few times now when I try to launch it I get a box up that looks like a command prompt but its stays up for less then a second so I cant read what it says... any ideas what I may have done wrong. any help would be great..

hey, disregard my older comment to you, I think I figured out what you did wrong, amigo!

I reinstalled yesterday, and when I first launched, your exact problem happened to me. I looked over my files, and found that I had installed to the wrong path. For me, the right path was: C:/ Program Files/LucasArts/Star Wars Empire at War

Make sure you don't go any further than the Star Wars Empire at War file. If you place the files in the gamedata folder, it confuses your computer. Just put it in the Star Wars Empire at War folder, wherever yours is. It should work then.

It would be so much easier if it was a .zip file with XML and model folders (plus mastertext), then the mod would be permanent but easy to remove, although it would take some work.

the have deliberately made it like that so it adds to the realism of the game. if you watched stargate would you see the Ta'uri or the goa'uld build a wraith hive ship.....no

interesting.... when I had it installed(had to uninstall due to space issues with my comp...) thats exactly what happened for me... except I just waited for about a minute after the box went away, and BAM... stargate fun. Not sure whats with yours...

And nice mod! It took me a long time to figure out how to install it, so I just got the beta 3 with the auto-installer until a few days ago when I tried this one again and got it to work! (turns out I didn't set it to the gamedata directory..)

The beaming nuke ability on Daedalus is incredibly powerfull.. I can't believe I can take out a hive ship in 2 hits.

Well I have version 1.5, downloaded Final 0.8

I installed and opened it with the .bat file (I had to create a Mods folder in the GameData folder or whatever for original EaW cause the game didn't come with one?)

But it gets to the screen where it says Stargate: Empire at War

Then the game immediatly crashes and says

EXCEPTION! See logfile.txt or exception.txt for details...Can't find any of those .txt files anyway but i need some help plz

Everybody put in requests for the game to be manually installed, with folders and models, plus mastertext files. all that = minimized and easily manually fixed bugs.

no worries, when you get the mod edit it yourself, XML is the simplest (and only) type of coding i know. :) its like this...

*file:projectiles (XML file) somewhere is: (25 as example)

*this is the projectile XML coding, where you change speed, color, turning rate, etc but not accuracy that is turret decided. the line of coding is self explanatory
**the file where hardpoints are created/duplicated. refire rate is how long it takes for the gun to fire the next bullet, i'm not exactly sure what the 3 terms are exactly called ill look at it later. amount fired is basically how many bullets are in one clip of ammo. recharge rate is reloading time, there is a randomized time between the min and max
***BR stands for backright, there are points on models to show where hardpoints are... you cant make your own visible hardpoint without making an entirely new ship, there are tweaks that i am not aware of...

yeah i guess your right but the ori laser doesn't fire as often and when the drones fire they come out roughly a hundred at a time... and yes the asguard do suck at aiming. they have small eyes like well......

on youtube it showed a dude using this mod but he had like 3 or 4 galaxies i got the mod working(great job its brill!!) but i get the same maps and galaxy as it is when it was still star wars. if that makes sense to anyone

-when attempting to neutralize hero the game crashes
-when attempting to conquer the asgard planet(name missing, its on the right side at alderran demise) the loading screen will restart when you press begin

check the directory and where you put the folder.
make sure the stargate file is inside the mod folder inside Empire at war game data..NOT the FOC folder

ok....what's inside it

if the "stargate_EAW" file is inside it then
move it out to the mod folder (the folder with the "source" folder inside it)

if the folder has the "DATA" file is inside it then
rename the "programme" file "Stargate_EAW"

if this doesn't help take some screenshot's (Alt+Print screen) and email them to me and i'll have a look

yeah thats the BAT file.all it says is the file directory for the SGEAW mod file. shortly after it goes away the game should start up
