== Battlefield 1942 Version == A Battlefield 1942 mod loosly based on the Stargate movies and TV series. Stargate: Battle for Mankind (full name) takes place in the near future, where the existence of the Stargate is known worldwide and the world is at war against the Goa'uld. The Goa'uld have made several attacks against Earth and the Tau'ri (humans) have made several off-world bases to battle against the Goa'uld (with some of these under attack). New weapons and vehicles have been developed to combat the new threat, along with standard, battle-proven weapons. It's an ever-evolving battle, with nowhere in the universe out of bounds in this intergalactic war. == Battlefield 2 Version == The Stargate BFM strays away from the mainstream Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis to an alternate reality, where there are several key differences including that which the Goa'uld were not entirely defeated and the Altantis Expedition has declared all out war on the Wraith....

As promised, today I'm handing down to you BFM2 Alpha R1. This version has the following items currently ingame:

-Tau'ri F-302 Fighter
-Goa'uld Deathglider
-Goa'uld Tel'tak Cargo/Transport ship
-Atlantian Puddlejumper
-SG Team Skins for USMC (Sniper, Spec-Ops, Medic, Engineer have correct SG Team Skin only) (China presently unmodified)
-Tau'ri Flag ingame (Goa'uld flag also ingame but needs work)

This version has only been tested with Battlefield 2 v1.41

We have a dedicated server running the alpha at present, check out our forums for the IP Address

The download can be found in our Downloads section

Keep in mind this is an Alpha release, and as such, essentialy it is a Public Beta. Do not expect everything to be perfect however I do encourage you to post bugs in the Bug Section of our Forums (Things like the Goa'uld Flag are not bugs)
