it´s not a stargate, but it´s needed for the new map
who knows, maybe its another kind of stargate, which we did not see in the show...
So what is it? I'm so curious by now.
It looks like a Stargate build pad; might the Stargate itself appear after it's construction, the resulting appearance depending upon the planet it orbits?

maybe a matter converter? that is what they called the thing on the odyssey they used to make food and other stuff while the time dialation device was active in SG-1 right? they could be using it as a ship building facility to quickly build new fleets
