Stargate: Hidden Threats mod for Half-Life 2

The Story

After Atlantis had landed on Earth following the battle with the Wraith hive ship, the president decided to send Atlantis back to the Pegasus Galaxy. In order to do so, they would require ZPM’s. Unfortunately, the wormhole drive and the battle with the Wraith Hive had depleted the ones that they had in possession, and Naquada generators did not provide enough power. A new SG team was created to search the Milky-Way for ZPM’s.

While on a mission, the new SG team discovers a planet that was long forgotten by all other races. On this planet, the team discovers new and different kinds of technology that could be of use to the world. While exploring the area, the team discovers some sort of artifact. They continue their exploration until an old facility is found which appears to have been some sort of laboratory. The lab contains one hub that would appear to fit ZPM’s, so the team tries to open it. To their dismay and curiosity, it contains one slot which seems to work with the previously found artifact. To confirm the fact, one of them places the artifact onto the hub. The lab lights turn on and the whole facility begins to shake. As the facility begins to fall, the team takes the artifact and returns to the gate. As they are turning to leave, the lab falls to the ground and the ground begins to shake with great force. When the team returns to the SGC, the scientists immediately begin studying the artifact. Unbeknownst to the team, a new enemy arises from a 10 million year imprisonment underneath the new planet. This enemy seeks revenge on those that put them there, and they focus on Earth.
