Starcraft Universe is a MMORPG that brings starcraft's great storyline and game play into a Role Playing Game format. Using Starcraft 2's Brilliant Map Editor Software, Starcraft Universe plans to make a thrilling and exciting RPG in the world of Starcraft. Using Leveling Systems, different monsters, dungeons and even a variety of weapons and armor, starcraft universe wants to make a Starcraft 2 come to life.
The Terrans are a fictional future version of humanity in the StarCraft series. The Terrans are the most splintered of the StarCraft species, consisting of multiple factions that not only fight the other races but each other as well. Considered an adaptive and mobile species, the Terrans are noted in the lore of the series for their ability to quickly access and drain a planet's resources. In the series' storyline, the Terrans are usually displayed as being caught in-between the conflict between the Protoss and Zerg while also dealing with frequent civil wars.
The Zerg Swarm is a race of fictional insectoids. Operating as a hive mind, the Zerg strive for genetic perfection by assimilating "worthy" races into their own, creating numerous different strains of Zerg. Unlike the Protoss and the Terrans, the Zerg do not use technology, instead using assimilation of other species and directed mutation to develop traits to match such technology. Zerg units are designed to be cheap and fast to produce, encouraging players to overwhelm their opponents with sheer numbers.

The Protoss are a race of humanoids in the StarCraft series. They are composed of two societies, the conservative Khalai Protoss and the exiled dark templar (Plan to incorporate two factions at a later date). The Protoss are depicted as a physically strong species with access to advanced psionic abilities. The Protoss are considered the most technologically advanced race of the series. Originating from Aiur, a planet on the fringe of the galaxy.
Featured in this video are the Third Person Engine and Data Editor (Plus Extra's). We plan to incorporate the Data Editor to alter the different kinds of monsters you find in the world and obviously we plan to use the Third Person Engine for the game itself.

Starcraft Universe Development Team
Before i disappeared for a few months to work on my studies, i thought i would share with you one of the features that was designed over at www.sc2mapsters.com. Its basically a Hero Selection Library that we hope to implement into the start of the game for each player (depending on faction). We have taken into consideration your comments down below on what units should represent what characters and i can assure you i am considering your ideas, at the moment im really just working on the main ground level on the game and then ill decide what units/items and environmental scenarios/units you will encounter later.
