Welcome to the New World of 3D Starcraft.
Starcraft has become one of the most played games in the world and as players eagerly await the release of Starcraft 2, ive created these SC 2 Concept Maps, to allow for players to experience Starcraft as they have never done before. Totally converted for Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, each map comes with lots of new player features, including new units and Abilities taken from the Starcraft's Ghost Game.
- Three completely distinct races: Protoss, Terran, and Zerg
- A new unit and gameplay mechanics further distinguish each race
- Full multiplayer support, with new competitive features and matchmaking utilities available through Battle.net
- Fast-paced, hard-hitting, tightly balanced competitive real-time strategy gameplay that recaptures and improves on the magic of the original game.
- Recreated single-player campaign from the original and expansion games

The original version of the 'Boot Camp' campaign map was release back in 2007 and was my first attempt at making a campaign map of Starcraft. The end result was a nicely converted map which followed the original demo map perfectly but after the map was released i knew i could do alot better and would be able to convert alot more of the map to look just like the original Starcraft maps.
So for the next 2 years i spent hours upon hours making skins for all kinds of borders, backgrounds and icons, you name it i converted it. Its amazing how many little things need to be converted in Warcraft III to make a Starcraft menu screen or score screen. But i wanted this new version to be perfect with little or no need for another update again. Along with all the skin creations the models got a once over as well. This resulted in better death animation and sound for the buildings and units within the map. Due to the new patches for Warcraft III: TFT i had to remove all the custom script coding and remove the Terran Liftoff ability which used some of that coding. But most of the original trigger systems are still there and working perfectly.
The map now stands at an amazing 12.40 megabytes in size, which is double the previous version 1.0 at 6 megabytes . This shows just how much more material i added to achieve a perfect Starcraft lookalike map.
Here is a list of the new map updates.

Sorry, my english is too bad, but I wont to ask you, when will be download the next map of the company?
i would like to request that you include AI for these maps please? :)
Ai scripts are being included in the new camapagin maps mate i can promise you that. The multiplayers maps im afraid cant support AI.
Did you ever ask the project revolution (or so) guys for permission to take the effort from their mod, so you could save some work ?
RoyderTreue
No i didnt and i would not be able to anyways. They wouldnt allow my project to use their models for my own purposes due to their copyright beliefs to blizzard.
It seems im alone in this project and am limited to my abilities to recreate starcraft maps and skins which im now finding extremely difficult to create.
well, did you ever ask them ?
well i read a post on the project revolution website from a guy who requested permission to use the models in PR for his own SC project and they stated it was against copyright to use PR models and if i was able to get the models and skins from PR then i would be subject to those laws or some shit.
But, the person was asking for permission for an opensource game engine. Since you are still using the Warcraft III engine things might be a little different.
As far as i know it still wouldnt be allowed as i guess my map protection is 100% fool proof and could cause their work to be obtainable to easily to the public.
well that's a pity!
keep up the work on your own project then
thanks for the answers.
