Overpopulation on Earth and severe economical issues led to a global crisis without precedents in the history of mankind. With the creation of harvester spaceships, exploration and exploitation of other worlds in deep space have permited our survival for decades since our planet started going downhill. During an exploration mission in which you were serving aboard the S.T.A.R 1088 as an additional security unit, something hits the rear engine rendering the whole spaceship completely inoperational and out of control, floating adrift in the unknown deep space. Stuck in the middle of our never ending unknown universe, it's time to send a signal in hopes help arrives.
