Hello there!
Evolution Mod was born in the Lucasforums.
This started with some tests with a couple of the game files. Then, I got tons and tons of cool cause-effects with the purposes I had on mind. The first one was to get Darth Maul playable in this game, and after a couple of messes, I got it working. Finally, after finding stability with some of the little modifications to the files, I decided to name this content "Evolution Mod" which means that content will be added. Then, the content will be polished and then probably changed. Evolution Mod for me means that this mod has not a direct purpose, it is just experimentation to learn and share content with the people that love this game. This mod is made from add-on's that contain the old dlc characters from The Force Unleashed 1 to new challenge levels. This mod is and will be unfinished because it has not a solid purpose, with that I mean something to point out in specific. Again, this mod is made from just small add-on's and modifications to the base files through experimentation and analysis. Thank you so much for your patience and support through all this years. I am glad that a lot of people had been enjoying my maps and mods.
The purpose of this modification is bring to the game a lot of new things experimenting with the actual files and content from the game. This will be done to give to Star Wars The Force Unleashed II a different look and with the hope to add more fun to this super short video-game. The mod contains some of this modifications:
- . Lots Of Costumes, included the DLC costumes from the first game.
- . Some Altered Costumes... Costumes that when the player selects it will wear only one lightsaber or a double bladed lightsaber.
- . Modified effects. For example, a couple of modifications to the main HUD of the game, some textures tweaks, etc.
- . Modified levels. Added new content such as the "Heroes Level" in which the player will fight with iconic star wars characters. Also, other small challenges, check those up in the Challenges Menu.
- . Added a couple of challenge to the game. Some enemies have their vitals/abilities altered. This to add a small challenging feeling.
- . Modified enemies, new enemies and altered enemies. It can be that you will see new enemies on a level or Darth Maul around the hangar, etc.
- . Player Abilities : some powers and abilities got a little alteration to get them stable.
- . More Features... the player will feel and see the changes at the very instant to play the mod. This mod contains a huge modification list. It is too big to put it here. Give it a try and look for yourself.

Hello to all the fans!
Recently I have received a lot of messages on my mail and personal messages regarding to the development of Star Wars Evolution Mod. I need to tell you that the mod is stopped. I still have a lot of plans to mod this game and some special features that will change TFU2 as the players see normally.
But!, there is a ton of people asking me about the Endor DLC. I need to end that questions here, because the answer from my part is always the same:
The developers of this game did not release the Endor DLC for PC. They only left parts of the DLC on the Files of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II. This means that the DLC is unfinished, and from my experience and resources. I cant join the files, because some scripts that connected to the story aren't in the DLC files for PC. Seems like the Developers were going to release the DLC for PC, but never did that. I know guys, for you it is a disappointment. I apologize for don't be able to do nothing for you in this case. :(
ANYWAYS! Not all is lost, there are a ton of DLC files, which are areas from Endor that can be built with the scripts and turn into challenge missions.

I also was mapping for Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, I made a couple of Star Wars maps for the fans. If you have Chivalry on Steam, you can get my maps. The game is pretty awesome.
A factor that pulled me off modding TFU2 and maybe this affected Kuku too, was the modding tools. There are no tools to mod this game, and the developers maybe did not want this game to be modded. They never released a tool kit or something like that. But! I see potential in this game to be modded. Sometimes I imagine a Episode I: Duel of the Fates battle recreation with the graphics of TFUII and this game has power to pull it off a project like that. But those are just ideas, without a toolkit, that is almost impossible to do.
So guys, by now, the mod is stopped. Time is gold for me right now, and time also dont let me work on multiple projects. But my final answer to you guys, is that the mod is not dead. Just stopped.

Hey guys I know the progress for Evolution mod stopped so I will be uploading Evolution 1.2 next month. My version of Evolution 1.2 is compatible with SWTFU2 v.1.1 so you can play it at 60fps. I also reorganized all the costume characters. More details coming soon.
hmm is the install gana be as broken as in v1.1 (nothing worked for me in 1.1 the 1.0 was fine tho)
Yeah I fixed it, so no more crashing for people who have SWTFU2 v1.1, it will also include the 60fps patch. I will name the mod "SWTFU II Ultimate Mod". I will upload the entire pak2 file so the following are pre-installed: Evolution mod 1.2, Alpha Setup Fix, dlcs (silver, yellow lightsabers & maulkiller). The mod will include "Wet Clothes" & "Endor Challenge Map" in an optional folder if you want to install. I'm still working on renaming all the costumes but here is what's available so far. All credit will be given to the authors for the mods I used.
SWTFU II Ultimate Mod Notes:
-60fps patch
-Fixed a lot of issues with Evolution Mod Alpha 1.1 so this update makes it Evolution Mod 1.2
-Alpha 1.1 Setup Fix included
-Fixed Crash issue on SWTFU2 V.1.1
-Completely reorganized all character costumes
-Completely fixed costumes titles & descriptions

Hope you fix the grapple animations for armors like sith lord armor. And is the single revers saber gana work as a costume or a color crystal seting ? And if i can ask can you make the red color crystal have some kind of an ability ?

Thanks, for now I'm going to keep it exactly like Evolution 1.1 except that I reorganized all the characters & made the costume list wayyyy smaller. I didn't remove any costumes only the extra stances with each character. So the single reverse saber is going to work as a costume. I kept two stances for Darth Maul & Maulkiller (normal two lightsabers + darth maul lightsaber stance). I will keep some other stances for other characters later on.
Oh 1 more thing do you know by any chance wene you are going to finish the mod ?
I don't want to be pushy i know modding is hard.
It's actually finished, I just need to fix some costume names & descriptions.

I will upload the mod to this site this Friday (early morning) if that's all right with you. I will include a video with what's included in the "Ultimate mod". I renamed every single costume's title & description. For all the costumes from SWTFU1 I used the exact titles & descriptions from the game. And all the imperial, stormtroopers, sith, jedi, starkiller costumes are next to each other. Where before the costumes from different groups were all over the place.
Good stuff can't wait.!! :-D
