Star Wars: Clones of War will combine the epicness and realism of Men of War with the Star Wars universe. Players will be able to command the Grand army of the Republic or the Droid Armies of the Separatists in a way never seen before, allowing them to experience the Clone Wars as seen in the movies.

Each vehicle and each soldier will be made as close to canon as possible.

Hello there!

The team is looking for a dedicated exporter to help get the vehicle models ingame. The role of the applicant would be to process the finished models in 3d Studio Max by adding appropriate helpers, emitters and other elements to make it function properly when spawned in Men of War! Those with experience with (and access to) a copy of 3D studio max and a basic understanding of .def files are preferred!

If you are interested in helping out, please leave me a PM here on Moddb.

Also, reinforcing our team is Max_91_ITA! Who will help us with various coding tasks!

Well, modelling is not really the problem, texturing is, for the most part. But I use 3D Studio Max ;)

You can use Photoshop or GIMP for making the textures, both now have built in support for the format MoW uses (I believe)

Couple of things to remind you so we would'nt have glitches in the LAAT in the first release:
Make it so that it will hover instead of flying a circle.
Why? 'Cause if it moves the landing would go too far and it will blow up from the first stone wall.
Make them spawn in the air.
Why? So it wouldnt glict inside of anything (saw it in BHD mod where the black hawk spawned inside of the earth).

in away i never thought there be much ponit of having key charaters in men of war or mods because of the games realism, they could just be hit by some stray bullet or osmething. But i guess it would be nice to see some peeps from star wars.
