In version 2.0, bots will be smarter, with new strategies. Walking animation for bots is improved. Weapons are also updated and give more precision. Player assistance system is introduced, new updated HUD make the game more realistic than ever.

ID Tech 4, is the engine used in Doom 3 and Quake 4. Although I heard Doom 3 was a great game, it's lighting system is poor. Doesn't have dynamic lighting like CryEngine or improved static lighting like UDK/UE3 or UE4. Just watch a few Doom 3 videos on Youtube and you'll see what I mean. Also Id Tech 4 is GNU-GPL which turns some game devs off. It forces people to give away content without credit or permission needed. Also you must share source code of game if it's using GNU-GPL licensed engine.

So basically using Id Tech 4 is picking an engine inferior to the one used in CoD4/CoDWaW.

If ebusian wants to take a minimal system requirements approach, he could pick Unity. It's written in C# and Javascript and cross platform (PC, Mac, iOS). Should be able to make games that work on integrated graphics, depending on how much eye candy is added.

If you are using patch 2, make sure it is a clean install. Otherwise please POST the problem in the forum (with image so we can solve it toghether). BTW, may be it's time to upgrade your laptop. I have a PC from 2003 and the mod runs smoothly on it.

• In configs folder there is a file named awe.gsc: open it, find this string:
set awe_bots 0 (set 0 to what number of bot you want)

• In normal server, add this line into your config:
set scr_numbots 5 (change 5 to whatever you want)

Default bots are dumb, they just move forward and collide the wall.

Maybe it's just the fact that I'm running my CoD1 on my 1.00GHz laptop, but for some reason if I load any map other than "mp_rust" the guns available onscreen are the default ones and I cannot use them. I can only use a certain sniper rifle (weapon number 9 I think...?), which is completely black except for the scope in both versions. BTW, how do I add bots to the normal (MP enabled) version?

I have never comfront this situation when test the mod before release. I can't imaginate how it is/looks like.

Here is the instruction step by step to install it:
• Delete the whole mod folder (ebus_swm_rw)
• Download Rebellion Warfare 2.0 Patch 02 and install.

Therefore, I recommend you to post this error on the "Bugs report" forum with some screenshot.

Here are some solutions:
• This mod may not run for UO.

• Update your CoD to 1.5b if you want to make a server with it. I strongly recommend you to make a clean install of CoD then install 1.5b server patch.

• Don't mess with default server configs files. You can just change bot settings and killstreaks settings.

• Killstreaks above 15 kills dont work.

If it still crashes, post the error in the forum or add me in steam/xfire (ebusiangamers), I will help you.
