Welcome to Star Wars Mod: Galactic Warfare, a modification for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. All began with a new 3D-model, and soon the idea to extend this theme as a non commercial fan project was born. In the meantime, our project is taking shape and we have found a couple of new comrades in addition to the team already involved in the development of Apesgorod. It's our goal to unite our favourite game CoD4:MW with the classic universe of Star Wars, as the best trilogy ever. With this total conversion we will combine lot of the known battlegrounds, characters and weapons of Star Wars with the fantastic gameplay of the COD4-Multiplayer. Either as a trooper of the Imperial Forces or as a soldier from the Rebel Alliance you will fight on some different locations.
Some parts of that gun remind me of the M4.
me too
Hmm yeah... the upper receiver resembles an M4...
don't forget that some of the weapons used in the star wars movies was modified real weapons, they just added some extra 'stuff' to the guns to look more futuristic.
Yeah, like the E-11 Rifle was actually a chopped up Sterling SMG.
And Han Solo's blaster was a modified Mauser C96.
Point taken, but this looks like a bit too MUCH resemblance.
I think it would be good if the magwell was changed up a bit to look more "space-y," and the magazine looks too much like, well, a magazine
what is that thing on the left of the screen, though? it looks really awesome and detailed
Well, the magazines are just magazines, you only see them when you reload so no need to change their look.
That's just a prop. Think it's some satellite antenna. But who knows what people in Mos Eisley used it for. xD
Looks great just like teh one from the movie Images.google.com
LOL@ "Tacticool" Star Wars weapons.
In Star Wars, the Empire was meant to resemble the Nazis, and a lot of weapons were decommissioned g=German weapons from WWII. Han Solos blaster was a Mauser C96 and the Stormtroopers standard blaster was similar to, as mentioned in a comment on it, the FG42.
that front of the gun resembles and m4 while the back and middle part resemble a MP40/STG44
Stop saying M4.
M4 wasnt even made yet when the first 3 star wars were out.
the M-16 or AR-15 were, and the M4 is just an updated version of that :p It did use parts from an M16, and some versions (I think the A295) used an STG44 instead.
