Star Wars: Legacy of War is an expansion mod that will add extra units to the Rebels & Imperials and also add new maps and Heroes. As the game goes on, new faces will appear and new technology will be unlocked.
It will add new factions to the Galactic Conflict of the game. The Camapign will be enhanced so you can fight from pre Ep IV Onwards. Including units seen during the New Republic.
The Mod has had to be toned down from it's initial plans due to lack of staff with the required skillset to create the full scale of the mod.

Hey People..
Long time no see eh??
Well to cut a long long long story short... We are still here, we are still working.
What on I hear you cry? We've released stuff to EAWFiles for FoC..
Well. Here is the low-down. Legacy of War is a mod for Both FoC and EAW. Empire At War and Forces of Corruption will both have a Galactic Civil war Mod. With Forces of Corruption of course having extra abilities etc.
We are also going to be releasing a Yuuzhan Vong Mod for Forces of Corruption. This part is ONLY for FoC owing to the Corruption factor and other graphic updates that Forces of Corruption has over the Original.
We will of course be releasing a number of smaller "filler" mods containing the Era between the two mods.
The overall releases will take time. Reason A is that we only have 7 staff.
Elron, Chooie, z3r0x, Klarin, Arkles, moda and myself.
Which is in staff terms, 1 skinner/rigger, 1 modeller/skinner, 1 mapper/coder and 4 XML/LUA coders. To get the stuff out faster we really need at least 2 more skinners, another mapper and at least another modeller.
Anyhow.. On to the Main part of the News post.. This is a long one isn't it guys

We're still in development.
We got to a stage of development and then had a problem but are slowly getting back on Track :)
The map as you see it has been plotted to XML and looks real nice in game.
Hyperspace Routes are being worked up now. That is all, more news soon.

Hey. I've been wondering for a very, very long time of what the heck happened to the LoW website...is this mod..I'd hate to say it....dead?? This mod has amazing potential, it wouldn't be nice to just see it crash and burn like this :( Couldn't find any news on this anywhere else, so if this is an obvious question, please don't go killing me >_<

Hi,i'm really ashamed of what i've written. It was stupid and needless. I even await your Mod because of the Yuzzan Vongh. Perhaps,I was angry because it lasts very long,before anything comes out. The "nomination" to the MotY forced me in some way to write this shit,because there are other Moddinggroups,which are more advanced in development! I just thought,you aren't worth it and that has made me angry!

I am here to make a mod. Not partake in a popularity contest over who got what done first.
Steiner does not go and add in 2 new complete factions in the SSI Ruuvi and Yuuzhan Vong. So your third point is moot.
To be honest dude. Mods can release what they want. We have a hell of a lot more stuff ready then is on this website. We have added an entirely new Galaxy with new Maps, Planets, an entire Canon Galaxy.
The team has in total 5 active members compared to the Steiner team that has over quadruple our staff.
If we had that kind of man power then we would have been finished on EAW and would be nearly with the main Yuuzhan Vong Invasion releases on FoC.
Congratulations! )-: Steiner Modding Group has released those ships weeks ago! Do yourself a favour and don't write "but it is the MC blabla,which is not in Steiners Mod" ! Your just too slow,sorry! And Steiners models look at least as good as your models! I don't think anybody should vote for you,because you simply do nothing new or sensational!
