Star Wars: Legacy of War is an expansion mod that will add extra units to the Rebels & Imperials and also add new maps and Heroes. As the game goes on, new faces will appear and new technology will be unlocked.
It will add new factions to the Galactic Conflict of the game. The Camapign will be enhanced so you can fight from pre Ep IV Onwards. Including units seen during the New Republic.
The Mod has had to be toned down from it's initial plans due to lack of staff with the required skillset to create the full scale of the mod.

Hey People..
Long time no see eh??
Well to cut a long long long story short... We are still here, we are still working.
What on I hear you cry? We've released stuff to EAWFiles for FoC..
Well. Here is the low-down. Legacy of War is a mod for Both FoC and EAW. Empire At War and Forces of Corruption will both have a Galactic Civil war Mod. With Forces of Corruption of course having extra abilities etc.
We are also going to be releasing a Yuuzhan Vong Mod for Forces of Corruption. This part is ONLY for FoC owing to the Corruption factor and other graphic updates that Forces of Corruption has over the Original.
We will of course be releasing a number of smaller "filler" mods containing the Era between the two mods.
The overall releases will take time. Reason A is that we only have 7 staff.
Elron, Chooie, z3r0x, Klarin, Arkles, moda and myself.
Which is in staff terms, 1 skinner/rigger, 1 modeller/skinner, 1 mapper/coder and 4 XML/LUA coders. To get the stuff out faster we really need at least 2 more skinners, another mapper and at least another modeller.
Anyhow.. On to the Main part of the News post.. This is a long one isn't it guys

Rooting for you guys, I've been expecting for this mod way before FoC was released and I'd hate to see it die.
err....hey foshjedi do u know when the Yuuzhan Vong mod is coming out?? im kinda anxious...and well....i love ur mod....downloaded V7 1 week ago and cant get enough of it....but dont u reckon empire might be a bit overpowered with the Mandator-1, the Eclipse and the Sovereign?? maybe u should increase their prices.... :)....but anywyaz when do ya think Yuzzhan mod will be out cos i just want to know considering ur new website hasnt got any info except download info......so yah...and i havent found anything else either....well plz contact me and tell me when u'z will be back and finished... thanks
I could do some mapping for you guys. Sent an email to fosh already. Basically, I'm great at space, but not so great at ground (though I am working on it)
An update! Great, I can't find any changes but at least it seems like the mod's not dead after all.

i think they are working behind closed doors - their status is 'active' and '70% complete'... apparently they have an internal beta... but i agree - it would be a shame if this mod died
You haven't shown any updates or other signs of progress for months, please tell me you aren't dead!
There's already so much work done, your models look fantastic, although your textures might do with more detail. Please don't give up on this mod.
