Star Wars: Interregnum is an upcoming mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion that builds off of the highly successful Enhanced 4X Mod. Fleeing the unknown terror that is chasing the Vasari, the factions of Sins of a Solar Empire stumble on a temporary wormhole that takes them to a galaxy far, far away. The sudden arrival of armadas with trillions of refugees and thousands of warships between the events of Episodes 5 & 6 forever alters the Star Wars universe and plunges the galaxy into an unprecedented period of chaos and violence. Begun, a new conflict has.

Those features were so cool! :D dam I didn't think I could get any more hyped up for the next release!
and now I am terrified of playing as anyone other then the Rebels, they seem crazy strong

Rest assured they have weakness too (all the Star Wars factions do). Fragile early frigates, bad at collecting planet tax revenue, relatively late trade (but good upgrades for it). The early game will be pretty hard for the Rebels but once they survive it they've got a lot of strengths.

Well, considering that most factions are vulnerable early-game anyway, its no biggie.

Also, can the AI choose a Warlord to ally to?

Even more excited now... might actually have to play a faction other than the Warlords, and take your time if you need it.

Doesn't have to be wormholes. Asteroid fields, uncolonizeable gas giants, comets, anything not normally colonizeable. Except those Schuttas called Magnetic Clouds, since they disable all abilities, you can put anything there. :p However, they don't really spawn on random maps in this mod.

Umm i know this is no big deal but why does the empire have the Venator Class Star Destroyer when you have the New Republic listed as a Race yet to come in would it not make sense to give the Republic Capital Ships to the Republic also the Empire phased out the design after the clone wars so they hardly ever even had any out side of Private Defence Fleets but like i said not a big deal

The New Republic is not the Republic from the Clone Wars. It is the government the Rebel Alliance forms after defeating the Empire after Endor. Or in this mod's lore, after the Empire is forced to withdraw from the outer rim.

Either way, the New Republic is the successor to the ideals of the Republic, but it is a totally new institution with a brand new military. The Empire on the other hand is the direct successor state to the Republic, so they have all the Republic's mothballed ships.

In my first full developer journal, I show off a few features for the next version of the mod that I couldn't really demonstrate with screen shots.
