Star Wars: Interregnum is an upcoming mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion that builds off of the highly successful Enhanced 4X Mod. Fleeing the unknown terror that is chasing the Vasari, the factions of Sins of a Solar Empire stumble on a temporary wormhole that takes them to a galaxy far, far away. The sudden arrival of armadas with trillions of refugees and thousands of warships between the events of Episodes 5 & 6 forever alters the Star Wars universe and plunges the galaxy into an unprecedented period of chaos and violence. Begun, a new conflict has.

Can you shoot from one Orbit to the other?
Or is the ships range just not large enough.

I don't think so, I misscliqued the other planet and it proceeded to try to go to the other gravitational area, probably not because of distance but because of the game mechanics

That makes sense, although I'm really curious just to see what would have happened if there were enemy ships in the other gravity well.

It does make sense that if you right-click on the other planet your ships travel to the edge of the gravity well and jump to that planet, however it would be interesting to see if ships would automatically fire on enemies in range from a different gravity well, or if they actually have to be in the same gravity well to engage one another.

The ability to duplicate a planet is insignificant next to the power of the force

Just change the top planet into a Jungle, move it up a little, and then you have Dxun and Onderon. Starwars.wikia.com
