Star Wars: Interregnum is an upcoming mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion that builds off of the highly successful Enhanced 4X Mod. Alright, he didn't really say that, but Traest Kre'fey is a pretty awesome Bothan nonetheless. One of the few to denounce his kind of being too fond of political intrigue at the expense of competence, Kre'fey's military career is all the more remarkable given the shadow of his Grandfather, Layrn Kre'fey. His humiliating defeat in both the expanded universe and Interregnum lore (https://www.moddb.com/mods/star-wars-interregnum/news/a-timeline-of-star-wars-interregnum-part-5-stalemate) would have doomed any other ambitious Bothan from ever achieving importance. In the expanded universe he played a major role as one of the New Republic's best admirals in the Yuuzhan Vong war, but since Interregnum is set several years before that Kre'fey is only a Captain at this time.
Gamewise, Kre'fey is interesting as being the only way the Rebel Alliance can use a Bothan Assault Cruiser, as the standard vessel is a New Republic only capitalship. This is because the New Republic was very careful with its newly constructed warships and held them in reserve to defend its new government; Kre'fey had to go out of his way to get loaned to the much more aggressive Rebel fleet to see action early in his career.
As a hero, Kre'fey fits right in with the other Rebel heroes in being quite offensively oriented. Among other things he can deal extra damage to an enemy planet to give his forces a morale boost, allow ships to deal Area of Effect damage after they use an ability with initiative, and heal his ship and make it immune to disable effects. Perhaps most interesting is his ultimate ability, Expert Raider, which grants Kre'fey's fleet immunity to Interdictors and Phase Jump Inhibitors, allowing it to strike without fear of being unable to escape.
I see something very juicy in that description.

Alright I admit, it wasn't the best joke in the world [you might even say its cheesy :p]. But it was late at night and I couldn't come up with a good headline for this. Still I thought we might get some so bad its good comments.
