Star Wars: Interregnum is an upcoming mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion that builds off of the highly successful Enhanced 4X Mod. Fleeing the unknown terror that is chasing the Vasari, the factions of Sins of a Solar Empire stumble on a temporary wormhole that takes them to a galaxy far, far away. The sudden arrival of armadas with trillions of refugees and thousands of warships between the events of Episodes 5 & 6 forever alters the Star Wars universe and plunges the galaxy into an unprecedented period of chaos and violence. Begun, a new conflict has.
Alliance forces of General Wedge Antilles' Fleet Group Lusankya, which includes the Executor-Class Dreadnoughts Lusankya and Organa as well as Star Cruisers Mon Remonda, Champion, and Mon Karren with their numerous support cruisers, engage the defenders of Anaxes under the command of Admiral Piett on the Allegiance. Anaxes is an important launching point in the Rebel Fleet's bid for Coruscant.
*This, folks, is why you don't let the rebels capture Kuat*
WAIT THIS CAN ACTUALLY HAPPEN IN THE MOD FOR US REBELS?!
Yup. Since Alpha 2 or so anyone who captures Kuat and build Super Star Destroyers.
And anyone that boards an Imperial cruiser can then multiply said cruiser with the Star Forge. Also- how do you explain that form of multiplication lore-wise? The ships need a crew, and because of the way that you balanced the Forge it would require a complete copy of the crew manning the ship. How do you explain that?
It didn't seem to bother Revan's Empire in KOTOR. And Thrawn used the Spaarti Cloning technology to simply mass produce the crews he needed for the Katana Fleet.
That just seems weird. You're serving as a base from which more of you can be made (a programming concept that I'm learning in Java right now actually), and then once you and your newfound buddies meet on the battlefield you realise you are talking to 30 others of yourself.
The Republic fought a war with almost all of its soldiers being cloned from one guy. They're programmed/trained to know how to work with that reality. It is certainly not unusual for Star Wars at all.
Not unusual for Star Wars, but perhaps it would seem out of the ordinary to meet your exact copy on the battlefield when you <i>aren't</i> prepared and programmed for that reality.
Damn, I really thought javascript worked here
probably why they wore helmets lol to avoid seeing eachother and the obvious protection.
It's always funny when it's gone back and forth and you suddenly get battles with multiple executors on each side.
i find this report disturbing, Rebels capture Kuat and now you allow Anaxes to be attacked. you have failed me for the last time Admiral
hol* **** this awesome!
Thank you. This is the first game I've actually played as the Rebels and I'm quite enjoying it
Why censor holy but not ****
I thought the exact same. :P
i am confused can all build super stardestroyers on juat or only rebels? and how do yo udo it titan factory?
Any player, any faction.
Kuat has a captureable shipyard that can produce them.
oh is there a planet list what some bonus planets do
You can find a list of all the generic (non-Star Wars) planets here. Moddb.com
Since you asked, I updated our Unit and Character list to include Star Wars planets. Forums.sinsofasolarempire.com
You'll have to find them yourself to see what they do though. :p Some are just really good planets, but others like Kuat have very nice extra things you can do. Playing some of the Star Wars maps included in the mod is probably the most consistent way to find them. Random maps have about a 25% chance to get one on average.
i mean like star forge and stuff some guide how that new star wars stuff works would b apresiated
This wouldn't happen to be the match you and I played with Carch would it? I know I had two Executors in my fleet.
Nah, this came from the offline game I've been running lately. A 1v1 with a hard Imperial AI
This pic makes me moist.
