Star Wars: Interregnum is an upcoming mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion that builds off of the highly successful Enhanced 4X Mod. Fleeing the unknown terror that is chasing the Vasari, the factions of Sins of a Solar Empire stumble on a temporary wormhole that takes them to a galaxy far, far away. The sudden arrival of armadas with trillions of refugees and thousands of warships between the events of Episodes 5 & 6 forever alters the Star Wars universe and plunges the galaxy into an unprecedented period of chaos and violence. Begun, a new conflict has.
It is mod of the year time again here at moddb. I'll soon be putting out a state of the mod post with some juicy details, but don't wait for that to fulfill your democratic duty and vote!

The humans of the Star Wars universe and the Trade Order humans are both common **** sapiens, as far as we can tell. Star Wars had practical limitations when creating their movies (and therefore canon), while Stardock decided on regular humans with SOASE. They would only look radically different (which is how humans discriminate usually) based on their environment:
humans living in space =/= humans on magma planets =/= humans on ocean planets =/= humans on ice planets
That is, of course, assuming they stay on the planet and don't leave.
In most Sci-fi universes, included Sins and Star Wars, it seems there is enough interbreeding among planets not to cause too radical differences. Of course, if interstellar travel is cut off, you get more interesting differences. That is possibly the origin of many near human species like the Chiss and Zabrak.
Lol.. we all discuss about the human origin in star wars, ignore the fact that Rebel's been indoctrinated by Advent.. XD
