Star Wars: Interregnum is an upcoming mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion that builds off of the highly successful Enhanced 4X Mod. I saw the loading screen tooltip about the timeline parallel, and after thinking about it. I put forth the idea that the time period is the fall of the western roman empire, and the arrival of Atilla the Hun. The "great darkness" is the Hunnic hordes chasing the minor barbarian factions (TEC, Advent, Vasari) into the territory of the Germanic tribes and other assorted forces (Rebellion) aligned to create the downfall of the Roman Empire (duh.) Discuss. |

Well its not my policy to publicly confirm or deny guesses. So as much as I'd like to I don't think I can contribute to this discussion without giving it away. :p If you or anyone else wants to make a formal guess, please send me a PM. Also, just so that everyone has the information, I believe the only sort of hint I've given about this is that Darth Vader and to a lesser extend Palpatine can actually be mapped to real historical people (minus the force powers of course). |
