This right here is an image of early concept art for the CIS Malevolence from Star Wars The Clone Wars. This design is very good looking in my opinion, and I'm thinking that it could serve the role as a Star Dreadnought or a smaller cruiser for the CIS holdouts. I am just thinking out loud, but this is something I want to look into more...

I personally love this design and it would be good to have some ships we've never played with before around this would be really good. Question is though if this were to be a dreadnought what would the other factions have to answer this? I love the Mandator but its been in so many mods I'm kinda sick of seeing it.
It's a Subjugator Class Heavy Cruiser. A ship of this class was the Malevolence, and it served as General Grievous's command ship in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars animated series.

Yeah I'm aware of that but in all honesty? i prefer this design to the canon one
The Mandator-II Star Dreadnought is the Empires most powerful ship, and would be a counter to this behemoth. I agree with how the Mandator is being overused, however, we intend to make the one in Inquisition to be a true menace. Not as powerful as an Executor, but still a force to be reckoned with.
I really like the Mandator model from Republic at War, but I wouldn't use it unless we got permission from the RAW team.
Never played Malevolence? Republic at War, öhm Strategic Improvement Mod, think some others too, its epic to play with that ion cannon :D ^^ And there is no counter unit, only much bombers first, or to much Venator etc from all sides, because the ingame ion cannon don t shot at all at same time/ my experience :D
This is concept art for the Malevolence so while it is true this is the Malevolence it isn't the same ship as used in those other mods that go with the canon design. If he made a model that looks like this then it would be different than all those other mods.
As for the design I say if you feel up to it go for it cause it looks pretty cool and would make your mod more unique. Also I like the Mandator but don't really like the design Evil Jedi used for it cause it doesn't look very Kuati. Evil Jedi based his design on one of the Anon cruisers so it isn't by any means a canon representation though with how often its been used you would think it is. If you want something unique then I'd personally go for something that looks more like Fractal Sponge's Bellator cause that's supposed to be a scaled down Mandator. Start with the Bellator and make it 8KM and maybe a bit beefier and that would look awesome.
I didn't quite mean I'd never used it before but more that this is a different ship design. I do agree that its an awesome ship.
