Expanding Fronts - Beta Registrations news

BETA REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN

Today we are going to go over how to become an official Beta tester for the Expanding Fronts Development Team. As you all know by now, in late October we will be releasing the Galactic Empire civilization for all to download. This release will serve as a testbed for many of the changes we have implemented in the game and help us gauge how you, the players, react to the numerous new changes and features. The Beta will still be available for everybody to download and play, but official testers will work closely with the developers to hammer out bugs and issues.

If you are interested in becoming an official tester please E-mail expandingfronts@gmail.com with the following information:

• Full Name
• Country
• Time Zone
• Email Address
• GameRanger Username (this is mandatory, if you don’t have one, make one BEFORE sending this E-mail)
• Skype Username (if applicable)
• Do you have a microphone/headset (optional but strongly recommended)
• A brief summary of your experience with RTS gaming, and Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds

We will try to respond to all applicants by September 21st. After September 21st registration for official tester slots will be closed. Not everyone who applies will make it in; we only have a handful of slots and we are looking for the most qualified testers.

You will be playing alongside the development team, and will be helping us hammer out bugs and balance issues, as well as fine-tune new features. This is largely a data gathering experience that will help us refine the game. You will sometimes be asked to complete surveys and polls to help us collect this information.

You will receive frequent game updates and patches as we make adjustments, fixes, and implement new tests. These updates will come much faster than public ones, so it is important that you stay up to date.

If you are chosen to become an official Tester, you will receive an official confirmation E-mail from expandingfronts@gmail.com. Once all of the testers have been selected we will E-mail you any other information you will need regarding times, files, procedures, and contact information. expandingfronts@gmail.com is the ONLY E-mail that will be used to contact you.
