Expanding Fronts is a massive modification for Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds aimed to breathe life back into the classic LucasArts strategy game by adding various new units, features, and gameplay elements. Each of the 8 civilizations are being reworked and enhanced to make each feel more unique and authentic to the universe, while maintaining the classic Battlegrounds gameplay. In addition, the Scenario Editor is being filled with hundreds of new units, buildings, effects, triggers, and objects to allow campaign and scenario designers more freedom than ever before.

Oh man those buildings are excellent. This specific scene reminds me of one in the 2D clone wars animated show when a team of "spec ops" arc troopers were sent down to a planet in order to destroy a large cannon battery.

There are four different types of ARC Trooper, each with a unique weapon and strength. The Vanguard is equipped with a rocket launcher that can bring down armored vehicles.

I've seen some screenshots about what I understand to be a co-op campaign. Are also working on revamping the campaign to harness the changes?

Oh, also, Will you do some campaigns of your own that cover stuff like this for example?

If everything goes to according to plan, each civilization will have a new campaign that makes use of EF's features.

We're also going to modify the stock campaigns to ensure they will support the new changes.

Awesome! Will some of those changes also cover the game's AI for the new and old campaigns? And lastly, about the GAR civilization, have you found a way to allow to play it with the clone troopers wearing the Phase II armor for example? Or is it simply not possible?

AI is currently our biggest hiccup. There's nobody on the team who knows AI enough to work out the numerous issues presented to us. For campaign missions we can get around it somewhat with triggers, but skirmish games are going to be a nightmare unless we find somebody.

Phase II clone armor is not impossible, but unlikely unless we can find or construct a model that can match SWGB's visual style.
