i like this mod alot
but i found it was kinda slow for everything to take effect like it took about 5 to 10 minutes to build one star destroyer and one building. Then i found battles took place really quick, some sheilds i noticed were sometimes ignored by laser fire i also noticed the rebel cruisers were easily no match for an imperial star destroyer. and ground battles were just annoying because i would deploy an AT AT but it was just overkill as the enemy had like 1 squad of troopes or another 2 and by the time i actually get into combat ive already bombed them and won. So i personally think it needs a bit more balancing.

However on the good side ive noticed you got rid of those annoying acclamators and victory cruisers for just ISD's i love the fighters, very realistic, as i believe there should be ridulous amounts of them buggers, but i wish you could control their excretion. Now most favourite thing is i love how everything has been SUPER-sized especially how the AT AT looks like it can carry troopers, also how the emperor and darth vader get escorts, i like the bigger maps too and the reworked unit caps.

I am sorry for my opinion but i reckon with time this mod could be very epic indeed sorry for length aswell hopefully this information helps you, if you wish i can playtest the rebels a bit more to see if things need work etc.

I am glad you took the time to voice your opinion. Your input is very appreciated as it is the only way I can rectify errors I have not yet found. Several of your concerns have already been addressed in the Beta 3 edition, however there will not be any new releases for some time. The more research I do, the more I discover in the Star Wars Universe and the more I can add to the project, but I will never go canon. If I were to give any kind of prediction for a next release it would be in the next two months, however ,there will be a significant amount of change and revision.

Well there are no plans to release the Beta 3 for a good while. But the Map Patch 2 will be out first for sure. I have rewritten many scripts, and so they are giving me some grief. All releases will be localized here, but once the Final version is complete, I intend to put it everywhere I can. It may take another year to finalize everything... An even then, I'll probably still not be satisfied.

The Map Pack 2 release will take more time than anticipated due to new scripting, however there will still be Fourteen new planets (about 25 new maps) and Eighteen new Skirmish Maps (9 space and land) Hopefully every Space Map will have its new planet texture by then.

I need people who have 3DS Max 7, 8, or 9, and can model ships, characters, and structures. Anyone who can texture these new models would also be greatly appreciated. Also, any animators, riggers, and hardpoint editors would be very helpful.

since you are making the maps much more massive, i can only assume you are also upping the unit cap for armies? and will tactics such as flanking actually make a difference compared to the vanilla? if so... then beware my Crane's Wing Formation :D !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is the capacity for more advanced tactical maneuvers, particularly with the changed accuracy and ranges of the units. It was the main goal of the Mod in its origins. I hated when ATATs were ontop of targets before firing. What was with that? its a giant war machine! not a nerf gun.
