This is a Submod for the Star Wars- Clone Wars mod for Star Wars: Empire at War Forces of Corruption. It's based off of the 2003-2004 Miniseries and will feature content that is unavailable in the original mod. The developers of the Star Wars- Clone Wars Mod wish to focus more on the current Clone Wars series so, they have commissioned this submod as a side project. This mod's goal is to appeal to fans who grew up whatching the miniseries and provide a sense of nostalgia to those fans.
Hello everyone, Delta289 here with a long overdue update of the Star Wars; Clone Wars Sub-modNo, we're not dead, just extremely busy. I recently started college and free time has getting been increasingly rare. However, great news is here; we now have model production capabilities! After being abandoned by MandoBardenJusik I had to scrounge around for models and do favors for others in exchange for models but now I'm able to make my own.
Being an Architecture student, the Autocad software from Autodesk has recently become available to me for free. As you may know Autodesk also produces the 3DS Max software used for modeling and game design. Well it turns out that 3DS Max is capable of importing DWG files (the file extension that Autocad outputs). What does this mean? It means that I can produce the models in Autocad and send them off to Ozzy667 (who owns 3DS Max) for rigging and animation, then send them off to skinners for skinning.
If all goes well, we'll be back to the scale of production that we were at when the mod first started.
For the 3rd year running the time has come to kick off Mod Appreciation Week 2017 and talk about our favorite mods. To thank those from our community who participate in spreading the love and awareness, we have partnered up with some friends of Mod DB and have a bunch of Steam keys to giveaway:
Nothing is more motivating than knowing something you've built is being enjoyed by others. So this week if there is a mod you love on Mod DB (or anywhere else), make the effort to shout out to them, mention and link their mod in a tweet, blog, forum or facebook post with the hashtag #modlove2017
After you have linked to a mod in a tweet, blog, forum or facebook post, let us know by leaving a comment with a link to your post. At the end of the week we shall be picking a few members at random who followed these rules, and will send them a key from one of the above games.
