Star Wars Battlefront III Legacy is a large-scale conversion mod created for Battlefront II using as many recovered assets that are available from the cancelled game Star Wars Battlefront 3 by Free Radical; including both eras (Clone Wars and GCW), a brand-new HUD+Interface and a few converted maps such as Coruscant, Cato Neimoidia, Bespin and Dantooine.

Please please please don't include him in your mod just please I'm begging you. I've been looking for a mod like this one for so much time, years even! Please, there is X2, Falon Grey, Master Ferroda, Asajj Ventress, Juno Eclipse, Galen Marek! Please don't. It would be an enormous let down, and something would not be fitting. The original Battlefront III wouln't have included this, and we know that. Please, I beg you, use your amazing skills to create fitting units, ships, characters, but please, don't make this of the mod.
If not, I and many many others will have to keep on looking for a mod that brings Battlefront III as it was meant to be to life, and with it being so close, it feels so bad to see it go away.

P.S.: Thank you for reading :')

Because it doesn't belong. The mod was what everyone wanted for a long time: Battlefront III!
The model is great, it looks spectacular, but it doesn't fit with the rest. The mod was just perfect in the direction it was going. It was what everyone was hoping for.
Of course the last decision is from the author of the mod, but we can express ourselves anyways.

I like how one character ruins the whole mod. No one else is going to make another mod like this, and if one character ruins the entire mod, then make one yourself if you hate it that much.

Dear El_Fabricio...

Don't listen to the others. This is awesome! I'd love to see Jyn Erso if possible.

I'm also one of those people whp thinks Krennic doesn't belong in this mod. This mod is about the cancelled battlefront 3 from ree radical back in 2008, and uses it's models which have become accesible in the internet somehow. this module is supposed to be a tribute to the Free Radical's Battlefront 3 which would have been a game set in the expanded universe since Disney didn't own it at that time.
The whole story of the game followed the Expanded Universe story with character's from that world like Galen Marek and Rahm Kota. And one mission that appeared in the game elite squadron which was dumped down version of that game, was about rescueing prisinors from the death star and stealing parts of the death star plans. Krennic is from Rogue One which is Disney canon, and in that canon, the plans were stolen by one rebel team in rogue one. But in the campaign for battlefront 3 the rogue force sensitive clone soldier X2 was supposed to steal parts of it and the whole mission was executed and overseen by the one of the surviving jedi masters of order 66, General Rahm Kota.
So it's a bit odd to have Krennic as a hero character in the mod, except he is just random imperial commander in this mod, then it wouldn't really a thing.
Mixing new disney canon and the old Expanded universe that way in this mod doesn't really work, at least for me. But I guess I will receice a lot of hate for that commentfor no good reason, so come at me if you wish. Just click the down vote button.

This isn't only about star wars battlefront 3, it has many elements that they weren't in the game, Galen Marek, Juno Eclipse, etc. This game isn't gonna do the story of star wars battlefront 3 (surprised?), that means that it isn't important that one character of "Disney canon" appears in this game, oh wait, because Galen Marek and Juno Eclipse are from Legends...that means that they can be in this game...right? Which that makes less sense than Krennic being in this mod, OH WAIT, I KNOW WHY KRENNIC DOESN'T BELONG IN THIS MOD! IT'S BECAUSE THE CHARACTER IS FROM "DISNEY CANON" RIGHT??? your comment is stupid like the other ones crying about one character. You can't say: "i will receive a lot of hate for that comment for no good reason" because we have A LOT of reasons of why we can hate your comment, you aren't special, you know that?

Model-wise, this could use a bit of work. It's great certainly but it so far doesn't look quite like Ben Mendelsohn, the actor that played Krennic though apparently, there is a more recent version so it's looking as though this issue may be fixed.

As an idea though, I LOVE this because let's face it, yes there's a Rogue One mod coming and yes, Krennic never appeared in Battlefront III. But guess what? Battlefront III was never finished. The various leaks that have come out with the pre-alpha and such show that while this game was certainly going to be big, it wasn't quite there yet and so of course, additions will have to be made to make up for missing content. I mean, this was the game that was going to have a version of Obi Wan that was corrupted by the Dark Side, Durge from the micro-series and Tarful (I think I'm spelling that name right.) and obviously not every piece of content made it out. Not only that but there's one thing to note.

Starkiller and Juno Eclipse are in this mod and you know something? They NEVER appeared in FR's Battlefront III. Palpatine in his regular chancellor outfit NEVER appeared as a playable character. Not only that but this is very common for mods to include characters and such that have never appeared in the sources they're basing it on. For example, remember the Conversion Pack? That thing included a fanmade clone legion with red markings for the Battlefront I maps as well as new Clone Commandos for the various extra maps that were based on things such as Rooster Teeth's Red vs Blue and may I remind you, they NEVER appeared in canon. Or how about Xavious' Ultimate Clone Wars pack? That thing also included fanmade clone legions and commandos and then there was The Sith Wars II which included characters like Kylo Ren alongside those such as Darth Caedus and Sion. This is nothing new for mods and you want to know why?

Because it simply provides way more content to enjoy.

I mean let's be honest here. This thing wasn't being made for the campaign since of course, you already played the campaign in Elite Squadron and not only that but the Battlefront campaigns were honestly not all that interesting to begin with. In fact, most of them were just runthroughs of the multiplayer maps with a few objectives to look after. Now if there was a campaign included, of course it'd be odd to include Krennic but let me just remind you of something.

Battlefront has had a history of not including every hero and villain in the campaign. So with that in mind, if there ever was a campaign made, did it ever just cross your minds that Krennic would only appear in instant action and that's it?

The way I view this, it's like this. This doesn't just celebrate Free Radical's Battlefront III, this celebrates the entire legacy this game created hence the name and Krennic's inclusion because it was through the impact that this game's cancellation had on us which led to our constant demands which eventually resulted in DICE giving us their take. Granted it wasn't exactly what we wanted but regardless, we gave this thing a legacy, a legacy that resulted in the revival of this series. With that in mind, it makes a lot of sense to include content like Krennic which to me is not at all a bad thing since it's more polished CONTENT.

And as for the argument that a Rogue One mod is already being made, let's keep in mind. Back then, multiple mods included characters like Kit Fisto and Starkiller, not many two mods were alike. Just because one mod uses a character doesn't mean others can't though what really frustrates me the most is that people are losing their minds over literally ONE inclusion.
