Welcome to the Tides of War mod page! This mod will attempt to recreate the epic battles from the movies that we have known and loved as well as creating a new fighting experience.
This mod features: 16+ new maps, plus a couple new modes, vastly improved AI, dozens of new characters, weapons and vehicles, a new shell and ingame.lvl, 18 campaign missions and brand new combat dynamics.

Greetings people of Moddb. As you know, for the past month we've been running a contest to decide a couple of map entries for Tides of War. We recieved a total of 29 entries for this competition, more than we ever thought we would recieve. Thank you to all who participated, please know that if we could, we would turn every one of these ideas into a map. However, we had to choose our two winners. Congratulations to our victors, evengidb and AUS_Doug! Their three ideas will be made into two maps, with one map being a combination of two of them. The winning ideas are:

I probably won't add them, i don't add stuff just for the sake of adding it, it has to fill a purpose, and right now that's just another heavy walker that's un-canon, with almost no reference pictures or information, walkers are a pain to animate as well, so I'm not planning on adding in any walkers that aren't already made by either pandemic or someone else.

Yeah, although Salecami will not be a vehicle map, it's a small map that take place in a caldera, it has ctf and conquest, no vehicles though. There will be plenty of AI though, it will be hectic and chaotic.

This will be especially cool with the fading damage setting. From close up, a shot from a blaster rifle will take someone out in one hit.

Anyway Spencer, I'm working on a cool new AI setting. It still has a lot of bugs, but basically the AI will line up into long rows when they shoot at each other, just like in the Star Wars movies.

Also, have you talked with THEWULFMAN about how to implement the squad idea? Alright, Alright, I won't give away the big secret. Just PM me about it.

EliteSniper and I have done some thinking and we have a plan, the first part of the campaign will be from the Republic, the second part will be from the Rebels Point of view.
