Almost two months ago (two? yikes!) we first mentioned that we'd be making a patch to the Conversion Pack 2.0. A little more than a month later, in mid-late February, we released an internal version of this patch (v2.1) to the Gametoast community for testing.

And a few weeks later, here we are. The 2.2 Patch has attempted to cover any and every bug that's been reported to the team since the release of 2.0 in September. You'll also notice a number of modes being cut; this was done to remove any redundant modes (i.e. uber and XL on the same map), increase online/offline stability, and give more room for additional mods. A list of the additions/changes are as follows:

  • Bossk First-Person View
  • Nien Nunb First-Persion View
  • Prince Xizor First-Person View
  • Bossk Concussion Rifle Fire/Explosion sound
  • Fixed model errors with Asajj Ventress, Mara Jade, Aurra Sing, and Komari Vosa
  • Kit Fisto's shadow
  • Kit Fisto's combo tweaked (to allow for easier use of "secondary" melee combo)
  • Cloud Car collision
  • Floating HUD icons in Felucia Hunt (KotOR)
  • Missing KotOR heroes in Rhen Var: Harbor, Geonosis: Spire, Raxus Prime
  • Points imbalance in Utapau Hunt
  • Broken Naboo Hero Assault
  • Sounds Naboo Hero Assault
  • Sounds KotOR era on Kamino/Felucia
  • Lowbacca crash-to-desktop on Endar Spire

I love this mod, it's like if it was an actual DLC for the game, has the exact same feel and the same fun from playing the game for the first time.
I even got to see what alderaan used to look like! (but you should fix that invincibility bug with mace windu and count dooku)

I think the pack is working because I can see all the new maps and modes plus the KOTOR faction but whenever I try to start a battle the game instantly crashes. I have tried this multiple times and ran as administrator.

Whenever I try to install the conversion pack 2.0 it finishes installing the 1.3 patch (I already have it) then a terminal opens up and says that BattlefrontII.exe doesn't exist and is halting to stop file damage. I am installing into the game data folder of BF2 and I am using steam. Any ideas?

That happened to me too, although that was when I first installed the patch. I had no problems with the light version of the patch. Also, make sure you're the admin on you system.

You probably want to follow the manual installation instructions included with the download (i.e. you'll start by extracting the install to desktop). The installer was written pre-Steam, and as such doesn't look for the Steamapps directory.

I created an addons folder and managed to correctely install a diffrent mod so maybe try that?

Speaking of that other mod however, I can't see any of the new content when I used the auto installer (Maybe because of the first mod I installed) But whatever I'll try a few things. Hope it works this mod looks good and Props to the creators.

The mod adds on a great deal of content. And for role playing especially, this mod is handy. However, this mod is far from perfect. As like with Dark Times II, I often experience crashes when trying to use certain maps, and some of the models (I keep think of Bastila...) seem to need a replacement or upgrade of some kind. KotOR is a welcome era, but weapons feel a little less distinct, and it just feels less familiar when playing KotOR era. I didn't get to play GC, but I found often that the sides…
