Almost two months ago (two? yikes!) we first mentioned that we'd be making a patch to the Conversion Pack 2.0. A little more than a month later, in mid-late February, we released an internal version of this patch (v2.1) to the Gametoast community for testing.

And a few weeks later, here we are. The 2.2 Patch has attempted to cover any and every bug that's been reported to the team since the release of 2.0 in September. You'll also notice a number of modes being cut; this was done to remove any redundant modes (i.e. uber and XL on the same map), increase online/offline stability, and give more room for additional mods. A list of the additions/changes are as follows:

  • Fixed model errors with Asajj Ventress, Mara Jade, Aurra Sing, and Komari Vosa

  • Floating HUD icons in Felucia Hunt (KotOR)

  • Points imbalance in Utapau Hunt

  • New force wave effect (CW and GCW)

  • Correct explosion chunks added for B-Wing, V-19 Torrent
  • V-Wing airspeeder added to Concord Dawn and Haruun Kal (GCW)
  • Kit Fisto added as hero on Methlyn
  • SWBF1-version Hoth added for Hoth Classic Conquest

i managed to download all patches for this game. i installed all the downloads. EXCEPT patch 2.0. i got 2.2 to work. but for it to work completley i need 2.0 but every time i download it says corrupted file

sorry for the double post, it's looking like every time an instant action match finishes, and is loading the next one, it crashes to desktop. even when it's just repeating the same map, it seems to crash.

hey just a couple of bugs troubling what is otherwise an amazing mod. this is largely AI stuff, but anyway...

firstly, the AI seems to have kept the annoying Battlefront 2 habbit of prioritising the death of the player above all else. i was playing Bespin Streets, GCW, Classic conquest and was chased by Vader for all of 5 minutes, during which he ignored and was ignored by 95% of my allies, even when he walked practically through them. just wondering if this could perhaps be changed for an update?

also, during the same game, Luke Skywalker decided he'd rather stand in a corner with about 12 other rebels rather than come n help me out. he was camped for about 6 minutes, apparently.

Another Bespin issue, and one that i should probably have researched further before coming on here posting about it - one of the best things about Bespin Platforms, and BF1 in general, was the ability to fly ships (X-Wing etc.) during the match. now, i only played this map in a Galactic Conquest in the KotOR era...but there weren't any.

Moving into space - no points for destroying Sith Cruisers? also, it seems as though the Old Republic at least had no idea how to fight a space battle, and despite my best efforts i've never had a space battle that resulted in anything better than a 12/30 - 30/30 loss.

Another one - standard rebel soldiers (on Bespin, again) were unable to sprint, and i've killed 12+ in a life time on a number of occasions without being awarded Frenzy w/ elite rifle. it's probably in the change-log, but do these awards still exist in the game?

oh, and the Old Republic Galactic Conquest is there and working, but i couldn't see the Sith one.

finally, a couple of maps still seem to CTD, though since i was doing a randomised Instant Action at the time, i can't say for sure which ones yet ^^;

anyway yeah, just a couple of things i've found so far, but otherwise it's an amazing mod n great fun to play.

The mod adds on a great deal of content. And for role playing especially, this mod is handy. However, this mod is far from perfect. As like with Dark Times II, I often experience crashes when trying to use certain maps, and some of the models (I keep think of Bastila...) seem to need a replacement or upgrade of some kind. KotOR is a welcome era, but weapons feel a little less distinct, and it just feels less familiar when playing KotOR era. I didn't get to play GC, but I found often that the sides…
