Here is the shoretroopers and the Tie Striker which will also be a ground fighter.
May need to do some edits to the Shoretrooper animation it looks like it's having some problems ingame.
Aren't the strikers in-atmospheric fighters? Either way its awesome to see it in EAW!
TIE Strikers were known to be able to fly into space, however only when the situation required it.
So... why use a fighter that is specialized in atmosphere environment in space when you have other fighters that is specialized in space combat? terrible idea make the tie striker buildable in space
It's as I said, they were only in space when the situation required it. Although that's not really something that can be properly shown in EAW so 2 versions of the TIE Striker is really the only way to give it proper representation.
Also when you think about it a fighter that can be effective in space and on the ground is extremely helpful as it would make invasions a lot easier.
That would be awesome with the Tie Striker, the Tie fighter, the X-wing and the Clone Gunship. And also a "Jedi Pilot" unit with the Delta 2 for both ground/space! Terrific.
I'm curious what the poly count for this is compared to the Striker Barlex [hastily] rigged.
Shouldn't be to far off, I notice a lot of the cockpit hull mesh are missing.
Model is over 35k polys.
I have a few requests for units.
1. Phoenix Squadron
2. The capital ships and space heroes in Rebels (Pelta-Class Frigate, Quasar-Class Carrier, Phoenix Squadron, the Ghost, Hammerhead-Class Frigate, Imperial cruiser, etc.)
3. MC80 Home One-Type Cruiser
4. MC80 Wingless Liberty-Type Cruiser (You can see it in ROTJ, so it's canon)
5. Braha'tok-class gunship (Again, ROTJ)
6. The MC75 in Rogue One
7. A reskin of the GR75 to make it more film-accurate, similar to that of Phoenix Rising
8. Unique rebel and imperial fighter squadrons (Red squadron, Rogue Squadron, Gold squadron, Green squadron, Omega squadron, Blue squadron, etc)

The MC75 will be tough considering there is no available model yet. I'm not against anything you said though.

They would be should the Mod Author/s choose to add them.
This is all cool and all, but does anyone know how to get rid of the incredible lag in GC? Whenever you get to a certain amount of units which have been 986 -1132 for me you basically get hit with all this lag that makes the game unplayable.
