Star Wars Battlefront 2: Battles of the Storm Map Pack is a huge 5 map addition to the Star Wars Battlefront 2. Throughout this map pack you'll experience planetary and space battles like never before. Fight as a star fighter on ground maps, Tear droids apart with your bare hands as a wookie, freely play as a Jedi and other new classes, and even destroy, yes DESTROY moving star destroyers in space maps.
Great mod. It brings out Star Wars Battlefront 2's potential and is all around an awesome mod. The maps are great and even the detail is good. The Maps are huge and I would not recommend this for people who want small maps, but if you want large maps, then what are you waiting for get this immediately.
the mod is great and worth downloading, their are a few small things i have noticed that bug me but on the contrary... itsgreat
I just played the geonosis map yet. Lorul did a great work on this. There are very detailed places and he has great ideas how to take existing things and put them together to a new experience.
But the map(s) are too big. On many parts I thought ok Lorul didn't know what to put in there to fill the map. It takes very long to explore the map and find the places you need to go.
If you want to play 2 hours on one map, that's a great choice for you. If you don't, I wouldn't recommend this map.
No doubt at all that these maps represent the incredible potential of Battlefront II, the scale of the battles was almost about as realistic and lore-like as you can get for BF II. No game breaking bugs at all that I encountered and performance was great.
I would have loved to see some CIS-oriented maps considering that Battlefront II's stock campaign also takes place from the Republic's perspective. If the modder ever updates this mod, support for Improved Sides and other mods which improve the models would likewise be great. The plot could have been better in a few areas, were I the modder I might have gone with the idea of making all of the scenarios more sandbox and less objective-oriented, which would also increase their replay value.
If they haven't already, I hope to see other Battlefront II modders take inspiration from this map pack and make even more amazing content of this sort in the future. Some GCW maps done in this style would simply be incredible.
Its the battlefront 3 we all wanted, too bad EA is too lazy to make games with their giant studio good, unlike this one developer who made this and is giving it out FOR FREE, I mean that's awesome, way lot better than what EA is doing and their pay to play and micro transactions

as a fan of the whole Star Wars universe and a real freak of it this map pack brings the republicback to it's old days and starting the clone wars, every battle, every planet, every map, every trooper goes just like it shoud go, so it's great. I loved it.
