Description
The basic Interdiction unit for the Imperial Remnant, the Immobilizer-418. These are relatively weak in combat, but bring a lot of utility.

Hey man, with the economy these days you just can't afford to leave the lights on.
The other important thing is that my laptop is currently using an integrated chip since my real graphics card is out of commission, so these shots aren't exactly on the highest detail either.
Maybe he just got hit by an ion Cannon.

So will this function as more or less a mobile PJI or will it prevent jumps altogether?

No it isn't. Interdictor is the type of ship or a description of what it does. The ships actual class name is Immobilizer 418

Can I pull ships out of hyperspace with this? I really don't like the simple, ships just cannot jump away concept in the other starwars mod. I would like to be able to ambush fleets incomming to my planets. We all know that is what Thrawn would do. Is it posible for the game to support a function like that?
No since ships travel through set phase lanes, only able to enter through jumping. You can't position a ship in between the gravity wells to pull them out. The base game simply won't allow it.
I think that Immobilizer 418 could(should, would??) serve the same role as Serevun Overseer from the original game.
