While I finish up the tedious work of the 0.95 icons, here's something else we've been working on for 1.0. The Empire of the Hand is coming, but they aren't coming alone.
Aren't the small ones Venators? And what are the big ships?
Look like Praetors to me
Small ones are Venators. Large ones are not Praetors.
I thought all Venators were gradually retired after the end of the Clone Wars. It seems this faction kept some of them anyway ^^.
I always loved the look of these ships, nice to see them in Ascendancy.
A couple survived and were used by various factions in different roles.
But whether they were used or not I too always loved the look of them and i'm glad that they're in
Pentastar Alignment and the Restored Empire notably continued to use the Venator.
Pentastar Alignment used them as starfighter carriers.
Many former Republic assets were sent into what would soon be Restored Empire territory to be dismantled for resources. Not all ships were however dismantled in time, which allowed Ennix Devian to use so many that remained.

Some factions continued to use them as carriers, and several companies converted them to freighters.
Damn! Wonder what they are tho , can't wait to use them :p
The big ships are Secutor-class Star Destroyer.

Not as independent faction, as part of the Imperial Remnant, which had been stated before.
I know that, but what other faction could it possibly be? The SsiRuuvi are already announced. And judging from my experience in TR: ICW Venators were kind of special for the Alignment.
who knows. Maybe they came up with new idea to implement them :/

The Yuuzhan Vong. They have announced it before that they would add the Vong as the fourth faction if I recall correctly.

and ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? the picture obviously shows a Venator with a less obvious Secutor, and I can't imagine in my wildest dreams that the Vong may use such ships!
Also look at the previous picture. The PA logo is clearly visibble in the UI

Yes, have you even PLAYED 0.90? Whenever you select a faction, there's an icon showed right next to the faction you're playing, in this case, that is the PA, but I also came across the Restored Empire and even the Empire of the Hand.
Hmm Would these two ships not contradict each other? Pretty much a good carrier with formidable fire power (Venator) along with a better carrier with better firepower than the Venator (Secutor)
Kind of like the Acclamator thingy?
Only if you think that the ISDII and VSDII coexisting in most fleets is somehow a contradiction.
I just remember a post on the forums about the Venator for the remnant vs acclamator.
