Every Battle Needs a Field image - Star Wars: Thrawn's Revenge II: Ascendancy mod for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion
From the makers of Thrawn's Revenge: Imperial Civil War, Ascendancy is a Star Wars mod set after the Battle of Endor in the Star Wars Galaxy. Fight for galactic ascendancy as multiple factions from this period in Star Wars history.
And this is ours. As we go, we'll probably have a few alterations, but on the whole these are the main planets which will be featured into our maps.
I'll have proper access to my computer again tomorrow, so we've got a lot of new stuff to show coming up this week, including one of the largest weapons in the Imperial arsenal.
(The original is rather higher resolution, so I'm trying to find a better place to host it. Points to anyone who finds the differences to the Imperial Civil War content, and conspiracy points to anyone who tries to deduce anything from it)

I think it's about 150. We have enough to cover the major powers of the area and allow us to have multiple scenarios without having to repeat too much. Sins can support some pretty large maps so we have a few of those planned as well.

will all the planets be named randomly when the game starts?
if its a predermined map from the list, no. at least I dont think so. I know they are not affiliated with SOGE, but in thier star wars universe all the planets are named appropriately as long as you choose the star wars map from the list. this I think is a good size, compared to thier large map which has 500 planets :p

So the in-game map will be designed relative to this map? Coruscant being in the center, etc?

When I wish to show pictures in forums, I usually use Imageshack.
It's too large for imageshack, and photobucket compresses it into unreadability
oh yea another question, in this map, are the planets going to start like EAW where there are predetirmined planets that go to a specific faction that you start with and you just fight empires and no militia, or is there not really a function for that and we do games normally
It is possible to perform such a function through Galaxyforge but you need to make sure specific factions go to certain team numbers.
Thank goodness I have the Essential Atlas because I can't do more than hazard a guess on most of those planets since computer won't show planet names clearly. Do believe I saw L'whekk over to the side so will you be including the Sii Ruuvi Imperium into this mod?
****... I relaly need to get sins then... I bet they can properly handle the ssds too can't they?
