A slightly different news piece from The Aftermath mod.
As Stage II work continues, we at Aftermath are looking for people that wish to have a go at modding Legacy. As The Aftermath has always been a hybrid mod (being half tutorial and half total conversion), we would like to give people the opportunity to learn how to mod Star Trek Legacy.
We are more interested in people that have little to no modding experience so we can teach modders how to mod Legacy with the tuition they need to develop their skills further. All Aftermath modders have got many contacts within the Legacy community if there are people out there that want to learn a particular area we do not cover.
Our main objective of this is not just to gain a few more team members but to jumpstart the Legacy modding community by providing a unique opportunity to create a brand new mod or multiple mods. We would like to help people set up their own mods for Legacy. We will guide people into learning how to develp stable mods for Legacy and also help them with advertising and hosting of their mods.
This is a new era for the Legacy community that Aftermath is taking the initiative in undertaking such an activity. We are in the position to teach which is an area no other Legacy mod would think of. Our next release will be in early 2008.
