Homeworld 2 meets Star Trek: Armada 2. Set in over all four Star Trek eras you will find three superbly balanced factions to face off against one another, the Alpha Quadrant superpowers! The versatile United Federation of Planets, the formidable Klingon Defence Force and the enigmatic Romulan Star Empire.
This is the Talon scout that we all know and love from Armada, it is demonstrating the default cloaking effects of Homeworld 2, recently restored to us in Continuum's version of Shader 2.0!
Larger ships have lower transparency, more faces you see, but the cloaking effect is far more discernable than it used to be!
is the ship transparent ? as i seen videos of other HW2 mod which had transparent cloaked fighter
There is a lack of transperence in general in HW2. You should improve the transparence effet a good bit more, or it's becomes unuseful hard to determin which ships are cloaked, and wwhich aren't.
All I did with this was revert back to what hw2 default is, it was a simple compare, copy and paste. I don't understand shaders and am unable to improve on them, this was just a step back to square 1 really.
The ship is at least partially transpaarent now, the effect is more subtle than we'd all like but it's still an improvement.
Oh well done! N who knows what else you and the team are going to come up with as you continue. Here's to the final items on the list behaving and falling straight off that list like well-behaved lemmings.
maybe ask guys from REARM if they use something special

I'm using default shaders and that's nothing but a normal HW2 cloaking effect, they're using new shaders.
