This mod will be a full space and land conversion for the Forces of Corruption expansion to Empire at War. I plan to have three different GC maps, each a different era in star trek. For skirmish battles, each upgrade(to a total of 3) will allow you access to new ships, there will be 3 factions for skirmish as well(star fleet, klingons, and a third faction) I hope to get more members to help make this mod, we need another coder and modeler, and a skinner, so if u wish to join and help develop this mod, send me a pm OR an email @ q789983 @ yahoo .com all help is welcome, and if you wish to "donate" some models, textures, maps, codes, ideas,ect. please feel free to do so. Hello my dear friends, welcome to the first Star Trek at War update in ages. I know you are all bursting with anticipation waiting for this mod to be completed. While at first the mod started out at a steady pace, it's now going at a slow, unsteady pace. Nothing has been done as far as the gameplay, such as models or codes, but I have finished what I believe will be the splash screen for when the mod loads up. I'm pleased with how it looks overall, if anyone thinks they can add in a cool logo behind the ships and captain busts, go ahead and send me the end result in a PM here on moddb, i'll credit you fully if it makes it in.

On a different note, you know that the mod's been inactive, and not much will be done for a while still, until a few friends of mine are finished with their own stuff. As I've said before in comments, I'm hopefully going to be getting help from some really good people, the leaders of Sci Fi at War, and Galaxies at War. Congratulations to both of them on their successful mods, and I wish them the best of luck.

Finally, on this update, I'm going to again ask you, the community of Star Trek at War, for help. If you have any ability to pitch in with a little bit of work, be it just one model ready for use in the game, or a full part place in the development of the mod, let me know in either a PM here on moddb. I really need help for this mod to become a reality, I've had quite a few people tell me that they really count on this mod to do something that is not seen in the Star Wars Empire at War modding community - a full Star Trek conversion.

Model done for the Star Trek at War mod for FoC this is not a perfect model but as close to the real thing as I could make it. Feel free to tweak it...

If this has been asked before, apologies but, I do have a question about the use of strike craft (i.e. fighters), will the Federation use the Peregrine-class for the TNG era, and maybe the Argus-class for the TOS to TNG? I am a very strategic thinking person and seeing that the little Peregrines could bring a world of hurt to the Cardassian/Dominion fleets I have to give them great respect and pity anyone that finds themselves on the receiving end of one of those beasts.

i remember that, its spelled phasor, but anyway it was a mounted phasor cannon i remember it when they find data all blown up or w/e it was gonna be included, but we still need heavy vehicles like tanks or something

Actually it's spelled Phaser, not Phasor,

and yeah ground combat in Star Trek generally involved deploying away teams en masse and heavy use of Transport inhibitors.

there were never any ground vehicles shown aside from the Dune Buggy with the Type VI on the back, as well as mention of things called "Hoppers" which were little more than 24th century UH1 or Blackhawks, but even a Blackhawk can be expected to cover infantry, while "Nor the Battle To the Strong" showed that Infantry have to cover Hoppers!

there was once mention of something called a "Skimmer" but only in "Business as Usual" never during the actual war.

i will say that federation is about 70% done, we still need more space units to be finished, and need all land units to be finished. Overall i would say mabe.....25% done i think. If anyone wants to know, land battles will be mainly infantry, with a few light vehicles unless we can come up with some non canon vehicles. any ideas?

Have you seen the units from Star Trek New Worlds? It could be a good starting place for the late original series time, then expand from there.

i dont think that happened...but maybe it did idk. All i know is that this mod will go where federation at war never planed to go. We will be working on space and land. First we will be making the mod for space, and will later add in the land units, ect. This mod also focuses on each "era" of star trek.
