I'm not going to dive into to much here in this news post but its safe to say that we have overhauled many of the complaints levelled at us so far but sadly we cant fix everything even though we often try.

You can see the latest updates further below in two parts....because someone knocked on my door....how rude...its ok though i assimilated them!

As always thanks for your support guys and keep on feeding back there's plenty of time to report more issues on the forum.

What with the speed of borgs vessels, wwhen you are not around they cross gravity well at FTL speed, if they are more powerful/you+at least as much ships you can get as you+even faster than you thats overwhelming
arent they supposed to be big fatty slow compacted waste (no offense, i like their shape~)

As Captain Boromir would say:"One does not simply take on The Borgs whitout being fully prepared"

btw: just pointing out something that may have already be said but its a bit annoying when you dont pay attention,
-When you call in a hero whereas you dont have enough supply the hero wont show up but the countdown will commence depriving you from calling him for a while.

the hero call-in is already known and will be fixed, as for the borg speed, we will look at it. or more specifically, Draconis will look into it. :)

That's deliberate. Ships move faster in secure gravity wells. When spotting the enemy they slow down to combat speed. This is intended both to look good, allowing dynamic ship movement to work better, and also to limit the Sins problem of ships bumping into each other.

Also, do the siege ships help with all the borg ships or just the caps?

Where's the problem with setting the races manually? And why not just roll a dice or let someone else do the race-selection while you leave the room, for example? ;)

Why i ask, is when you have your main fleet fully supplied, and you need to build a starbase, you have too self destruct some ships in order to build the starbase ship.

The starbase ships only take up supply when in ship form and the points are then refunded when the starbase is built.

We did indeed do a lot of testing, particularly on the Cardassians and Dominion, and the Dominion is pretty much fine in terms of balancing. Considering how much firepower Jem'Hadar capital ships carry I think their above average supply cost is perfectly reasonable.

Also, consider that they're far from the most durable of capital ships. The high firepower-low survivability contrast means Dominion players have to weigh the pros and cons of building capitals.

The so-called 'mothball fleet' is comprised of rarely seen ships in the series, mainly those that were made specifically to be shown as wreckage at Wolf 359.

In 1.0 this research allowed your hangar stations to call in several of these ships in support. In CTA this has been changed. Warp-in support can now be researched in the defence tree.

The Hangar Defence structure has a special ability that allows you to call in these ships.
