A little bit about each faction (sourced from Memory Alpha)

The Cardassian Union was formed under a treaty that established a power-sharing agreement between the 
Cardassian Central Command and the Obsidian Order. Friction always existed between the two organizations as the Central Command worked to expand the reaches of the Union and the Obsidian Order worked to suppress it. The civilian Detapa Council was established to serve as the chief governing body between the two branches, however, in practice, the Council was virtually powerless. (DS9: "Defiant")
The Dominion was a major galactic political power, whose influence was exerted over thousands of planets in the Gamma Quadrant. By the year 2372, the Dominion had existed for somewhere between two to ten thousand years. The Dominion was created by the Founders, a group of Changelings who resided on a rogue planet within the Omarion Nebula.

Diversity for the dominion.

We know many players wanted a solo Jem'hadar faction but that doesn't follow canon or recreate the DS9 feel so the dominion balance has been designed as best we can with overall balance in mind with the joint synergy of both Cardassian and Breen fleets added and combined to the dominion vessels.

Overall all of the vessels  have their role so we challenge you as players to identify with that and show us how to utilise the factional differences as a fleet.

You mean apart from the different fleet size presets in the game options? I don't think the engine can handle a lot more than what you can change there.

if you play small maps the game can certainly handle it. im pretty sure all you need to do is change the values in the fleet research section

I am getting mini dumps when trying to enable this mod. I have reinstalled both the mod and the game several times as well as applied LAA. The only issue I can come up with is that the mod is still for 1.80 and Rebellion is now at 1.82. If anyone has any ideas or solutions I would love the help.

NEVERMIND... Just watched the video and it said to install it to 1.82 not just move it from 1.80's folder to 1.82's

Out of everything done so far, what would you say was the most difficult from a developers point of view? (I.E. crazy coding for "x" ship, or getting AI to work properly?)

MVAM was a headache for us until Lavo made it happen, that and the particle effect by maxloef took a bit to get looking spot on.

Borg AI has also been a thorn in Nightshades and Draconois side for a bit now though the team feels confident that it is working as intended now.

Yeah, I'd heard that getting cloaking to work properly within the limits of Sins is horrendously difficult. Looking forward to seeing how much has been changed for the Romulans & assorted enemies in CTA :)
