Wow, that is the simplist form of the Startrek 4 plot I've ever read, the film seemed longer some how.
It likely felt longer because of the political message that they kept beating over our heads during the course of the entire movie.

*SPOILERS TO STAR TREK A VOYAGE HOME*
Star Trek Voyage Home: Big alien probe that thinks the only thing with a brain on Earth is whales and since all whales are extinct Kirk and the crew of the Enterprise must use a rusty old Klingon ship. To go back in time and rescue two whales to communicate with the alien probe before it destroys Earth *on accident.
As I have watched maybe 2 episodes of Star Trek, can't tell if trolling, or this is the actual plot.

As much as I'd hate it, does this little...probe...of tricks disable any and all vessels for an extended period and not actually destroy anything? Is the only thing that can get rid of it the HMS Bounty? Find out in the next exciting episode of Armada III!
