Star Trek: Armada III begins with the first stirrings of the Dominion War and allows players to take command of five unique factions, the United Federation of Planets, the Klingon Empire, the Romulan Star Empire, the Cardassian Union/Dominion Alliance, and the Borg Collective. Explore strange new worlds, seek out new life and new civilizations, and boldly go where no one has gone before.
The War is raging on...
Victory is... holy crap thats alot of incoming phaser fire....
retreat XD
But the distinction is that they are not firing on the same ship. If you watch closely, you will be able to see it. But why would you need to retreat? If the fleets are close or equal in strength, a good tactician could(or should) be able to get a victory with acceptable losses. How could losing a portion of the fleet be acceptable loss, you ask? War is never won without casualties. No strategist can win a war without losing or sacrificing troops. Of course, if you can achieve a victory without battle you will minimize losses. But if you conquer capital planet without culture, you are bound to lose ships. No way around it.
If you look closely you can spot a breen chel grett cruiser in there, so the dominion troops are not alone
