New Ship classes?
The classes you see here are the Springfield (right), a combat variant of the Challenger and the Cheyenne class, lower left. They're best seen in the battle of Wolf 359.
can you tell us what role they are?
They're set to be destroyers. Generally speaking they're more heavily armoured than most frigates but less so than most cruisers. one or two of the classes have a more specialist role too.
