Actually I'll put my hand up and admit to some creative Photoshopping with this one. ;) Thanks, though.

That would explain that disruptor shaped hole in the stars between the planet and the bow section.

"If i were human, i belive my reponse would be .....

Go to hell!! ....

If i were human"

Ah my favourite trek movie, just loved it so much, esp the closing scene with the enterprise riding into the sun, not gonna lie a tear crept up into my eyes first time i watched it in the cinema, end of a era for me and of the enterprise a. Always prefered the lcars and ship interiors of the TMP era compared to tng much more operational and military, compared to the tngs ikea look. Right were is my ST6 DVD????

I totally agree mate, the TMP era Federation always felt more military like compared to the TNG era.
It's my favourite era ship designs are awesome. :)
