I was also wondering in the future if you lot are contemplating about introducing species 8472 as it was in armada 2 or any other token races like the Kaison etc After you have brought in the Cardis and dominion.

We're not planning on having them as a playable race, purely because canonically they're more powerful than the Borg. Imagine it. Horrifying! You might see them in the future however as a random event.

Yea a random event would be good, or to occupy one or two random sytems that they don't leave or act as a random balancing killing machine.

I could just imagine all the hurt you would receive if your fleet just happened to warp in on top of them whilst heading off to go attack another fleet.

actually no, they are nowhere near the Borg, but they cannot be assimilated so that borg cannot adapt to them. other races can beat them fine

I completely disagree. The cliffhanger of Scorpion, Pt. 1 had them destroy a planet in seconds. True, they turned and ran after the development of nanoprobe torpedoes(which is still weird to me to this day), but they're NOTHING to scoff at and mighty dangerous in their own right.

Has anyone had any issues downloading STA3? I'm shown a transfer rate, however, percentage of completion isn't moving? Stays at 0%? Help!

It might be the sudden demand on the servers, coupled with the fact that generally speaking the moddb download path is a bit nuts anyway. persevere and it'll sort itself out.

I've had to re-start the DL quite a few times. I think I finally have a stable DL going from one of the different mirrors. Been trying to DL all day lol. It's also DLing painfully slow, but there is nothing that can be done for that.

easy AI, if they're Borg will be tough as nails. Easy-Borg is a suggestion for starting difficulty when fighting against the borg :)

Seems this is happening with every re-attempt at DL and re-install, there is also a 21FC error that pops up once in a while when I retry

Hey guys, good work! I like how you reduced the supply costs on the Borg caps so that using mixed fleets with them actually makes sense. Also, Locutus is terrifying. He's basically a fast Cube. Awesome.

for me this mod download half way and then says "invalid data" , like it downloads only 707 MB and then says missing file

It means your download has lost 'packets' during download, either down to overloaded Moddb servers or poor internet speeds. Try again or at a later time.

Congrats on the release it really does feel a lot more polished. Fantastic work. Another good news : It appears the crash issue many had in 0.95 has been fixed. I'm playing on highest settings and haven't experienced a single crash in hours.

But now it's time to focus on the Dominion I can hardly wait for em.

With the federation hangar defense, it says it needs some kind of research to activate the ability to call in reinforcement ships even after I have researched everything and have hundreds of excess fleet capacity. How is it meant to work now?

Have you guys thought about adding the NX-01 from Star trek Enterprize Static3.wikia.nocookie.net to the list of federation ships. it could be a light frigate or a light and fast capital ship.

The NX-01 would not have been used by the Federation during the Dominion War. At best, it would have been a museum ship.

May I say that you guys did a fantastic job on this. Only had the time to briefly look at some new stuff and what I've seen so far is already amazing. Can't wait to play the Romulans. Keep up the good work, so that I can kick some Cardassian *** someday. Totally love it, especially when having grown up with STAR TREK. It's going to be a long and nice weekend. If only I had some romulan ale.

Weird thing. Playing as Borg, map Ancient Gifts, Pirate off, random events on. When a nuetral fleet suddenly enters the gravity well the planet is lost without a shot fired. Any reason for this?

I have really been enjoying the mod since the first open release. I have noticed a couple little things here though, like the Romulan colonization research still has some federation text in places, and I cannot seem to find the research the federation needs to call for backup from their hangers yet, is it actually in the game?

Also do I need the SoaSE DLC to get the Crystalline Entity to show up? I am wondering if it is classed as a 'random event' is all.

Actually how much of the mod am I missing by not having the two DLC?

Alright removed the early release .95 mod, Installed full release, get to load the mission/map and it freezes up. Is there any way to remedy this?

Also How necessary is it to have the DLC for it and if not all of them, which one(s)

First of all thanks and congratulation to this great mod of yours. I think its really amazing. I just have one problem. In MP matches I can load an autosave but I wont let my friends join anymore. Error msg: Your galaxy differs from the hosts. Got any fix or solution for that?

bets thing to do is send the 2x save files in your multiplayer saves to them directly and have them paste it into their save folder in the same location, remember autosaves to the autosave one normal saves to the normal save one
